Northern Ireland is a mixed bag of firmly protestant and firmly catholic cultures. Without getting too much into the conflict you can say for sure that both sides of the troubles in Ireland were staunchly rooted in their chosen branch of the Christian faith.
What that means is that Northern Ireland is a much more conservative place than the UK generally and any public support for a child-indoctrinating, HRT dealing, catboy discord running transexual will be tentative at best.
Keffals isn't going to be able to make a big public show of himself in Ireland. The people around him will not be happy about it.
That's my assumption.
I could be wrong but, there's still conflict in Northern Ireland to this day between those churches and their political groups.
