You guys don't like it just because it won't allow spoiler candidates to pave the way for far right wingers to win with ~30% of the vote. Admit it.
No, I dont like it because;

1. It's disenfranchisement. When I go to the polls I have the candidates I want to vote for figured out already. Not filling out slots in a tiered list or filling out the same name for each tier means if theres a round 2 and my choice gets eliminated my vote no longer counts.

2. It makes election fuckery so much easier. Most people can barely keep track of A vs B, when it gets to elimination rounds and tier lists it makes it so much easier to fudge.

3. Winning by majority vote becomes an illusion. Let's take my previous post as an example. The conservative candidate won handily against his individual competition because democrats are feckless and tribal. It wasn't just the (R) candidate vs. The (D) candidate with the (I) spoiler. It was the conservative candidate vs. The trans lesbian of color Vs. The swamp creature Vs. The AOC-esque prog Vs. The foriegn invader. The left wing "winner" didn't win with an overwhelming majority, they got ~ 15% of the vote + 30% of the 2nd-4th compromise vote. You think that fucker is going to have the popular support of someone who got 55% of the vote? All I hear from most of the people in that city is "That fucker was my 3rd rank choice and they are a moron."

I admittedly don't know much about this group, but I will say there is nothing wrong with drilling, uniforms, or flying our flag. We have a second amendment. Drills are important. Uniforms have a practical application in warfare. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, and we should stand up for that and criticize anyone who calls people 'radical' or 'extremist' for exercising their rights.

There's no shame in preparing for a civil war at this point. I would not have said that a few weeks ago. Shit's gone downhill very fast.
If they were actually doing productive drills, maybe I'd agree with you. But unarmed riot shield bullshit (I wasn't kidding with the legionaries reference) is just larping for the cameras. Resistance against our proverbial oppressors will never manifest in a dozen or so dudes forming a testudo and fighting off bullets with their plastic shields.

It'll manifest in National Guard supply depots getting lit on fire or its guards getting sniped from the nearby treeline.

Why do I feel The person Who graffitied the glass is
A. Lives in their parents basement
B. Likely is a pedo and or pedo enabler
C. Is stuck flipping burgers with five digits in college debt with a useless college degree.
Splitting hairs but there's very few basements in Seminole county, and Florida in general

They still look like a bunch of fucking goobers LARPing.

Keep in mind, Trump filed for reelection within a few months of startimg his presidency. I unironically think its when the midterms are up that we will see movement on that front.

Get ready to be talked down to by incestuous Joepedo on Thursday.
Carter 2.0 has never been more apt. At least Carter farmed peanuts and did a lot of charity. Biden's only credential is being corrupt.

So, sitting here brain farting on a lazy Sunday morning, a question came to mind -- Kari Lake has said that her first act if elected Governor will be to declare an "invasion" at our Arizona border. What does that mean exactly and can she legally do it?

The answer appears to be yes, she can. And here's a great read about why she can and what it means legally.

ALWAYS archive. The link is now timing out and I can only guess what you're talking about (but it sounds juicy).

Does anyone actually believe Biden is in charge of the country? Even the guys in my office who look like literal soyjack memes are starting to say they don't think he was legitimately elected.
This actually isn't a terrible line for them once Joe outlives his usefulness (in 6 months or so): "Joe and ONLY Joe (plus whoever in his inner circle is currently politically inconvenient) did some fucky shit in the 2020 election, so we're going to do The Right Thing and pressure him into resigning. Of course, whoopsie-doopsie, there's no remedy for a stolen election so we're just going to keep the office and everything he did with it, but now we've jettisoned the loser and the problem is solved. So solved in fact that we don't need any election integrity laws or anything because you can count on the system if anything weird happens as we just demonstrated."

Stop giving them ideas!

Would they let their questioning loose about that on their social media in front of their (presumable) liberal friends though?

Carter was well-meaning but was an inept small-time state-level politician who was way too in over his head in the mire of the DC swamp.

I always had this eerie feeling that Carter wasn't really supposed to be the main man for the Democrats but lucked out in the primaries and with Ford pardoning Nixon after Watergate, the DNC was in a position where they could run a potted plant and would've won the 1976 election and they just rolled with it at first.

Joe Biden is just a corrupt scumbag and always has been from day one.

There are people I know who think the slurring and stuttering is just "a speech impediment" and can't fathom why the government is that incompetent and slow to fix any actual issues, because surely the government is supposed to care about the people first....right? Nepotism, corruption, and bureaucracy? Doesn't exist, except those RepubliKKKans!

The average price for diesel is up 10 cents in a week.
Hmmm…are we finally seeing the end of the SPR being used as a crutch, and the prices re-increasing accordingly?

If so, there are probably some swamp creatures in DC tearing their hair out right now in exasperation, since the goal was to stave off price jumps until after the midterms.

The average drop in regular has slowed considerably, only 5 cents in the last week, still paying over 4 bucks here. I heard after Labor Day they expect gas prices to rise since a lot of the oil production will be turned over to home heating, and the demand for that really cannot wane as a cost cutting choice like people could do with driving.
Looks like demented Joe is back to threatening Trump supporters.
Biden: "For those brave right-wing Americans... if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15. You need something little more than a gun."
