It's kind of funny how you can just s-rank missions in MGS:TPP by being absolutely fucking brutal and using the chopper. Just select your landing zone the site of the thing itself, use the minigun to wreck everything, sometimes you don't even need to land lol.

Deploying the helicopter for support actually caps your rank at A. But you can definitely be loud and dumb with your tactics so long as you speed run shit. There's obvious bonuses for no detections and nonlethal but they pale in comparison to just doing missions as fast as you can

IDGAF about rank, I always used the chopper in the Quiet fight, especially after they made it to where you can get her back. Just sleep gassed that bitch seven times.

That's why I specificed:

Just select your landing zone the site itself

If you're using the helicopter to go in or to fly out, it doesn't affect your rank and you don't lose points.
