What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

He makes up shit on the fly because he actually puts significant faith in mere hunches, instead of doing what most functional adults do and verify their claims before spilling them out as any sort of "interesting fact". Most notably, his take on the contents of a TEXTURE MODDED folder in H&H being so retardedly shizo you'd think he was rambling about those iceberg memes:

To keep it simple, Oxhorn didn't take the backlash like a champ and just move on. No. He had to delete fucking every bit of criticism his way, and it got worse when he tried defending fallout 4. If you question ones right to criticize a product, it is fair grounds for me to question your integrity as a person.
Oxhorn was certainly one that I watched the lore dumps of then started noticing the flaws of. Between his "Man-ifesto" and Bethesda dick riding I eventually just gave up caring.

Tech Altar made a stupid video browbeating people who own cars.
I used to like his insight about the cellphone industry, but since he moved most of his content to Nebula I rarely remembers him. "Just stop owning car, you're polluting the world, you take up space, there needs to be less subsidies for car." Yeah fuck off with that bugmen bullshit.

Now looking back what I was missing, I guess the signs are there, but he never pops out in my recommendation, until now.
Man, Am I glad to not spawn in the EU. Whatever they drink there seems to turns people into manmade horrors.

This wasn't the video that made me stop watching this guy because I can't seem to find it. He might have bitched out and taken it down after the fact, but he made some super condescending video like a week after the 2020 election talking about how he feels so sorry for Trump supporters because they were taken in by his sweet lies and how they were all suckered in by fake news and that's why they supported him. I left him a message on that video telling him it was really fucking dumb to start talking politics in a community he had cultivated for himself that was largely apolitical because I had actually been getting into his content to get my mind off politics and now that haven has been ruined. Told him I unsubbed and was very disappointed in him and never looked back. Checked out some of his video titles while trying to find the one I was talking about, and they seem interesting, but I'm not interested in throwing view numbers at a condescending faggot who vomits pedestrian LA trash opinions on politics without provocation.

Not a video per se, but thought it was worth bringing up a gaming (mostly Warhammer) oriented channel run by a married couple, Snipe and Wib - I liked their style and sense of humour, but upon finding their social media discovered they're extremely woke. I know woke stuff was mentioned in their podcast a bit, sort of brushed it off as typical internet people repeating the current thing for clout while not really understanding it, but every other tweet by either half of the couple is a tirade against conservatives, "TERFs" and any other group with an opinion that doesn't fall in line with SJW orthodoxy. Needless to say, no longer a fan.

Jeremy Parish/Video Works

The guy who does the NES Works series has been slipping TDS, "muh sojiny" and other virtue signaling into his newer videos. Videos which are supposed to be factual and non-political. So as to be timeless and always relevant.

He covers NES and a bunch of other consoles. He's been doing it for at least 10 years and each video is an overview of a few games. It covers the history, localization, and general facts about it, regional differences, reception and importance, things like that. He started with launch titles and is gradually moving forward chronologically. It's the kind of thing that would be cool and informative to have around.

He used to do a good job of being neutral and staying on subject. Then he started inserting leftist political shit into his more recent videos. Like one where he added a snarky remark about "republican healthcare" where it was completely off-topic and made no sense.

The one that did it for me was the Golgo 13 for NES video. He made a point to remind everyone of misogyny a few times early on, but managed to do a decent job until the end.

The game involves Hitler cloning himself and stealing the vaccine to a deadly bioweapon. This caused the guy to go into a dumb rant about the game being "from a different time." A time when people knew nazis were bad, a time when they didn't love nazis and want them to come back, a time when the BAD PEOPLE actually DID want vaccines, etc.

Way to be a sped and throw out any kind of objectivity and neutrality your series was known for, to try and insult conservatives and anyone skeptical of the coof shot, out of absolutely nowhere. In a video review that's supposed to sound like a wiki article about the game, and nothing more.
I kind of knew him when I used his forum for a minute when it first appeared. Got pretty tired of the yes men surrounding him.

I can't stand seeing him now a days since I know how fake he is.

I unsubbed to this guy due to the video I believe you're talking about. It was literally the day after the election where he released a video stating how evil Trump and his supporters are and how vile they are as human beings. It wasn't the subject matter that bothered me (I fully believe you are welcome to have whatever beliefs you have and to share them with your viewerbase if you choose), but it was the fact that this simpering pussy decided to wait until the day after Trump lost to release it. It really came across as the most weak willed, half-assed attempt at political pandering I've ever seen. I'd have had infinitely more respect for the guy had he released that same video a month earlier and left it up.

Regardless of politics however, a lot of his videos come across as very manipulative in the sense that he has a certain attitude/personality in the way he speaks that's engineered to make you feel safe/value his insight for things that you really shouldn't and/or would be detrimental to you. For example; the constant reminders that you shouldn't 'stress out' or 'force' yourself to create art, even if you want a career in the field - ignoring the fact that you need to basically run your own business, work on your skills, push your craft, look for employment and so on. No, you shouldn't let stress consume you, but the kind of lifestyle/culture it felt he was trying to propagate does nothing to help his viewer and only serves to prevent real, legitimate competition from arising in the first place. Sure, it seems like a tinfoil hat theory, but with someone who it in tune to a similar field it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It's at the very best disingenuous and the worst it's self serving.

In a similar vein, I can't watch Civie11 anymore after he posted a BLM support post on either Youtube or twitter (I forget which one) then took it down within the hour because people called him out on it. Once again, IDC if you want to support something I don't - it's when you can't stick by your actiuons/decisions where you lose my support.

Also, Mandalore gaming because of the bullshit with Vinesauce Vinny.

This video pretty much led to a downward spiral on a youtuber I used to watch, JelloApocalypse. At first I thought he was a funny animation youtuber but then he made this

It was a very preachy political video that seemed neutral at first, but then became "VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!". It's worse when his channel is likely viewed mostly by children which is even worse as the demographic his content is for does not vote. Ever since then his videos have gradually become worse with his "This is Basically" series becoming unfunny garbage that are thinly veiled rants about series he doesn't understand. It doesn't help his twitter shows this where he insults fans of various shows and acting like his own opinion is superior (i.e. Like making fun of/insulting Jojo fans for thinking it had depth and then when called out, cried saying he was a victim who just liked a series for different reasons).

It gets worse since he still has his head shoved up his ass to sniff his own farts to this day acting like he is the most intelligent person ever.
I sometimes like to check back on Youtubers who I hate to see if they improved their content, since way before I was on here I disliked Pewdiepie but when he became more sincere he was more tolerable.

But this man still has shit taste and the comment I made about sniffin' his own farts is accurate with how he allegedly has a private fart fetish account.

But he spends most of his time basically making garbage takes and acting like he is superior with his own projects which he promotes in a half-assed way like bitching about stories involving generational family trauma while acting like his own is superior even if it doesn't involve that sort of conflict, made a pretty garbage webseries that is just slides, and a myriad of other garbage takes.

This is a very good recent example.

This idiot thinks that a show was cancelled because his super in-depth takes are what the higher-up executives also believe when it's obvious that show was canned because the executives felt it didn't make them enough money.

It just shows how egotistical he is since he thinks his opinions are objectively right especially with that Vote video which showed how much of a self-righteous prick he was that he can tell his audience who to vote for and be lauded for being brave.

I like watching long vids about old internet and internet culture in general. J Aubrey kept getting pushed in my recommends so I watched a bunch of videos, they're not bad but something is a little bit off.

It's not one video specifically but the guy gives off bad vibes of being a faggy redditor which just doesn't jive with the content that is being covered. You are talking about lunatics who will say stupid shit, no need to cut away to lecture the audience about it bro. I can't give one big example of him sperging, more like an accumulation and an undercurrent of being just a little bit too politically correct for my taste.

Stopped watching JerryRigEverything when I seen a Biden & Harris poster in 1 of his electric hummer conversion videos.
He's still dropping le epic already old news, inaccurate political references in his 'durability tests' that don't really provide useful data. The tech video sphere, especially mobile stuff is a trashfire and has been for half a decade.

While not a video that would make me stop watching him per say, to hear that he wiped out ALL of his friend's backed up phone states WITHOUT ASKING FIRST made me want to slap this fucking chink through the screen. Holy shit, why would you ever feel like posting this?? :stress:

I used to remember his channel when he was an Irate Gamer parody channel.

He is. I tried watching his video on SkyDoesMinecraft but couldn’t get past the 5 minute mark due to him insisting on using they/them pronouns. IIRC there was a comment on that video that he liked that said something along the line of “Oh my God I’m so proud you used the right pronouns even if he was a horrible person who abused his girlfriend you should make sure to use the right pronouns!!!!”, but I can’t find it.
Regardless, if you want any proof this dude is a fucking faggot, see his Twitter:

After seeing his Twitter I made sure to click the “Do not recommend me this channel” on his videos.

That makes a lot of sense.

He recently did a video on some MGTOW guy, I got about 15min in and had to dip out because the video was pretty boring. Anyway, there is a cutaway at some point where seemingly out of nowhere he shits on JK Rowling and my first though was "oh this Aubrey guy must really like feminine penis". Then I thought, nah its just an innocuous joke, I probably spend too much time on KF and see troons everywhere. Its good to know my first reaction was 100% correct :story:

I haven't really unsubscribed from youtubers in a while since I very rarely subscribe to begin with. I have a few people I'm "following" but not subscribed to since a lot of videos are hit-or-miss and I can just catch up to good ones once every few months. But in the last few years I've stopped watching:

Jimmy Broadbent
I originally liked his stuff because he's on the softer side of the sim racing community, so he's not completely and utterly mentally ill, just regular mentally ill. Did a lot of interesting gimmick videos like driving a construction truck down the nurburgring or just trying out new tracks in weird cars. Eventually started gaining followers fast, and started to favor twitch. Went too deep down the iRacing well. Eventually got famous enough that he got a seat as the token internet celebrity at a racing car team in a low-tier series and continues to do well there. Good for him I guess.
But the part where I unfollowed is him doing a review of an AMS2 update right around the time where he started gaining a lot of momentum in followers and e-fame. AMS2 had a rocky development cycle and this update fixed a lot of its issues, but all he took away from it was "it's not iRacing" and "it's still AMS2" and "I saved the car when in iRacing it would have yeeted me into the stratosphere (even though iRacing's tire model is notoriously garbage and in real life you can save the car easily, there's videos) therefore this game is bad." The negative backlash from his legion of commenters got bad enough that the lead dev of AMS2 reached out to Jimmy by email whereupon Jimmy claimed the developer harassed him and told him to fuck off. The dev posted a copy of the letter on their forums and it boiled down to "if you've got actual feedback and criticism please tell us because we want to improve the game, please be aware that we're not a big developer, and your superficial youtube videos can have a really negative impact on how people perceive the game. We'll keep giving you free copies of future DLCs with no strings attached if you want them though." Although by then it was two weeks later and everyone already made up their minds because it's the internet.

I'd been following him for years but noticed that a few years ago he stopped reviewing games on a regular basis, then stopped doing tech tales on a regular basis, then stopped doing random videos on interesting stuff he geeks out about on a regular basis. The overwhelming majority of his recent videos are just unboxings of all the shit people send in to him on a monthly basis in the hopes that they'll get their expensive shit featured for 30 seconds. That and videos in the vein of this guy who donates a shitton of money to my patreon just donated/loaned me a very rare piece of expensive tech and here's a video on it but I'm not enthusiastic at all other than thanking the guy who sent it in, please don't stop sending money to my patreon, I can barely afford storage fees anymore. Also I remember a few videos of him going to conventions in the South and wearing a coof mask in jurisdictions that dropped their mask mandates both inside and outside years ago.

Some Britbong F1 Youtuber I Can't Remember The Name Of
This guy used to make long-form detailed and interesting videos on bits of Formula 1 and general racing history, and did a bit of sim racing on the side with older games or found interesting gimmicks in newer games. After a long while he settled into a groove where he was churning videos out on a decently regular basis, but had gotten complacent. His voice became monotone because he was reading off a script, and he also spoke slowly because... reasons? I realized this when I found that setting the video playback speed to 1.25x made his speaking pace a lot more natural.
So like an idiot I decided to give him feedback about it, just telling him that he spoke a bit too slowly, and if he forced himself to speak a bit faster, not only would that solve that problem, but it'd reduce his monotone. I also told him that his audio setup could use some work since any time he pronounced a plosive it'd blow out the volume - a common problem and solved easily with a pop filter, which I also suggested could be made on the cheap with some pipe cleaners, glue, and any soft material like thin cloth. Basically gave him criticism, explained where it came from, and offered suggestions. You know, constructive criticism?
Like any good Queen-worshipping Britbong he said, verbatim, "Well I'm sorry I don't meet up to your standards, why don't YOU do better and show me?"
His followers then piled on in the comment thread and I unsubscribed. I haven't seen him on the recommended videos in years so I assume his channel died.

I bowed out of watching LGR quite some time ago as well. Shame he’s become such a twat, I used to genuinely look forward to his videos. Hell even his thrifting videos (which he rarely does anymore) kept my interest. Guy is just a boring dullard now.

This guy is just moralfagging. At one point he says, this person is racist. Oh no! RACISM IS BAD! Racism is 'harmful' and 'dangerous' (actual worlds he used). I hate current culture.
I remember when That Creepy Reading was a slightly decent creepypasta youtuber that I used to play in the background while I did my college work and gaming, at least he was until 2017 when he became a total clout chaser and couldn't even be bothered to double check his videos before uploading. Thank fucking christ I unsubbed from him in 2018 or 19 but I should've done so much sooner than that.
