i think it's mostly grifters who see keffals as a means to an end. most of these people have been advocating for kiwifarms to be shut down for over half a decade and keffals has a significantly higher profile than any of them ever did (aside from maybe brianna wu during peak gamergate). in that position, there's no reason not to suck it up and pretend like keffals has impeccable moral character if it helps you achieve your goals.
