that's possibly worseNo idea what that heresy is, but this is what I was talking about.
i think i'm now forever set in my ways of calling him beeboI like "Big Naked Johnny;" it gets all of his names efficiently in one place. I think the same person called him "Nakey Snakey," but I've forgotten the name of this wordsmith.
I understand, but I can't help but think it's pronounced the same as Bibo and that's just confusing.i think i'm now forever set in my ways of calling him beebo
EVERY CREATURE NAMED WITH THESE PHONETIC SYLLABLES IS HORRIBLEI understand, but I can't help but think it's pronounced the same as Bibo and that's just confusing.
It's how Nature says "keep away."EVERY CREATURE NAMED WITH THESE PHONETIC SYLLABLES IS HORRIBLE
Kill it, eat its heart to take its power, and then make a box out of its hide. It's how Nature says "keep away."
Although if MSF-era Big Boss had heard about Bibo, he'd want to go into the woods of Japan to look for it. Hrrgh, a god monster?

I played 2,3, Peace Walker, and 4 in RPCS3. 2&3 run just fine, and so does Peace Walker (although it's really boring compared to the other two).Tested the latest update of RPCS3 with MGS2 and MGS3, performance is now pretty great, much better than the last time I tested, but sadly on mgs2 I am still getting some errors that cause some scripted segments to completely break, like at the start of the big shell the guards snake knocks out wake up immediately after using the node.
As for MGS3 the performance in the virtuous mission was pretty much a constant 60 fps, and I didnt get any problems like in mgs2, so I will call that one a success for now
Edit just to add my pc specs so people with a better pc may want to try too:
Ryzen 5 3600
gtx 1060
24gb of ram
I was going to use my DS3, but do you have any idea what could be causing the braking of scripted sequences in mgs2? I mean, if it keeps happening I will just play the pc version, but I rather play the ps3 one because it has little to no visual problems that arent on the ps2I played 2,3, Peace Walker, and 4 in RPCS3. 2&3 run just fine, and so does Peace Walker (although it's really boring compared to the other two).
4 had issues (it may have been fixed but this was a few months ago). Performance was okay, but it kept crashing to a point where I had to abuse the new savestate feature to play it all the way through. In good news though, if you're not using an official DS3 controller, you can use the analog sticks in place of the SIXAXIS motion controls for that part near the end with the voodoo dolls.
Have you checked the solutions here? https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=Metal_Gear_Solid_HD_CollectionI was going to use my DS3, but do you have any idea what could be causing the braking of scripted sequences in mgs2? Yeah I already tried, doesnt seem to be a known issueHave you checked the solutions here? https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=Metal_Gear_Solid_HD_Collection
It ran just fine for me.
I am at least MOSTLY certain the guards are SUPPOSED to immediately wake up after using the first node. I recall it happening the last couple of times I played MGS2 on actual hardware. Unless you're talking, like, they're INSTANTLY up, conscious, and immediately spot you, because that definitely isn't supposed to happen. You SHOULD only have a scant few seconds to find someplace to hide upon using the node by default, though.but sadly on mgs2 I am still getting some errors that cause some scripted segments to completely break, like at the start of the big shell the guards snake knocks out wake up immediately after using the node.
Yeah they are literally just doing their normal routine instead of being knock out and losing the first starI am at least MOSTLY certain the guards are SUPPOSED to immediately wake up after using the first node.
