you guys ever just use humor to cope with life - please seth meyers don’t use the farms as a therapy session

Yeah. It's probably the only thing keeping me from putting a shotgun in my mouth. Even during all that lockdown bullshit a couple years ago when I was heavily abusing LSD and the shit began to turn on me, I tried to laugh at how stupid and easily fooled the public is. I still went out plenty, got as much air and sun that I could. It was great because everyone else was inside.

My man Michel Houllebeqc will tell you the truth, he talks about the English but it goes for Americans as well:

“People often say that the English are very cold fish, very reserved, that they have a way of looking at things – even tragedy – with a sense of irony. There’s some truth in it; it’s pretty stupid of them, though. Humor won’t save you; it doesn’t really do anything at all. You can look at life ironically for years, maybe decades; there are people who seem to go through most of their lives seeing the funny side, but in the end, life always breaks your heart. Doesn’t matter how brave you are, how reserved, or how much you’ve developed a sense of humor, you still end up with your heart broken. That’s when you stop laughing. In the end there’s just the cold, the silence and the loneliness. In the end, there’s only death.”

Yes I use humor to cope. I watch funny YouTube vids everyday bc I might kms if I didn't have humorous shit to laugh at. That's probably why I use this forum.

Edit: Here's something I laughed my ass off to today.
