There was a DNS block before. The current attempt looks to have the goal of Aus seizing the IP addresses and enforcing that seizure upon the IP register. No clue if the mechanisms behind whatever law they have enables them to do so but assuming they do it looks like the register is an Aus business so they'd have to act on it pretty much. As I understand it, that would still have to be enforced by other IP infrastructure who could theoretically ignore the register's information on the leasing status but that's highly unlikely as the register is supposed to be authoratitive.

Overall result would be KF needing a new block of addresses. Tor would probably still be able to work I think. Further doubts about about the stability of an interconnected big I Internet would be raised. Be curious to hear from Null what it takes to get addresses from ARIN. I'm guessing it's been out of IPV4 numbers since forever and it's a pain which is why we have APNIC numbers instead.

Currently some IP's in Australia block IP's if you use their official DNS server. One example is Optus, who blocks World of Tanks for some reason. The simple way around it is to simply configure your router to use other open DNS servers.

I'm sticking with that initial assessment I made last week. Liz Fong Ching Chong being the "brains" behind the operation would explain why this whole campaign is a failure.

I was more so wondering what the deleted or unavailable tweets were about. Whatsitsface even recommended the tweets be deleted. This could have something to do with it though.
