Just so people know, the rrat continues that the guy didn't just post a single comment, but also sent supas to her and other holomems harassing her. Posts on 2chan include IPs, so I am wondering if they got the IP from Youtube Supas somehow and traced back to the 2ch posts.

Just a clip from the stream she talked a good bit about it back in May, her grandmother hadn't passed away at that point but she was talking about all her health problems and also expressed at one point in the stream that it was at the point of needing to "prepare herself" for what would be coming soon.

Also talked about her mother getting diagnosed with Breast cancer at that point as well.

I think it's a terrible system but at the same time if one is born raised and immersed in the culture that abides by such a system I hardly fault the person for utilizing the system. In their own national context it's not even "abusing the system" to do what's been done here. It's the system working as intended. People are a product of their enviroment and I'm not expecting some rando like (possibly) Marine to be some enlightened individual that sees the wider picture and make a moral choice to not use the system in place where she lives when there's (to my knowledge) no real movement for it to change from how it is there. That system is normalized there and people seem to overwhelmingly accept it, so people will utilize it normally. There's issues there but it goes beyond any one individual's responsibility.

I still don't worry about that though. Most defamation lawsuit get's thrown out if the said word has not caused harm to either your reputation or your business. Unless you are either rich or the person really hates you and you have convincing proof that it does do damage to the two you may win the case.

Deserving things for your work put in has never correlated. You can watch any indie or small corpo chuuba put in the effort, draw up that .png to entertain viewers on stream, set up that camera to cook something or build a toy. Amount of donos, CCV? in the tens, sometimes a hundred. It's a good thing most of them are grateful to whatever fans they get. Ayame is this lingering textbook example of how coomers are the primary driving force in both donations, CCV, concert ticket and merch sales.

Cover doesnt care about her because they dont have to pay for her, they dont NEED her to use her character, and she is on her second year without the forced streaming schedule clause on her, the majority of hate comments i have see is the constant flip flop of excuses of WHY she doesnt stream, the ones i remember is she being sick, she not managing to find a good Internet provider (in fucking Japan of all places), her grandma being sick, her mom being sick and a large etc, like people have said here she has a group of masochist that pay for anything she does even if she doesnt do anything and Cover consider that a plus
