Also, keep in mind that Northern California will want to join a greater Idaho or break off and become their own state. We still have options for west coast ports.

There are no harbors between the San Francisco Bay and the Columbia River that are large enough to support significant container traffic without many billions of dollars of dredging and filling. And even if the harbor was constructed, the transportation networks in those areas are not developed enough to handle the new traffic.

Honestly within a year the only semi sustainable populations of deer/elk/etc. will be in three places.
1. Boreal Woodlands/Far North
2. Deserts of the Southwest/Great Basin.

Why bomb SoCal? It's easier to cut off the Colorado River.

The Colorado River is effectively cut off due to reduced snowpack and hemp farming in western Colorado. It still supplies the retards in SoCal, like the Kardashians, but Arizona and Nevada are getting reduced shares.

Why? Well, mostly due to interstate agreements. Las Vegas actually gets a lot of water from wells and has intense conservation policies - I was very surprised when I moved to California to find that people here absolutely do not give a shit about water conservation and water their lawns daily. It's a fucked situation and even though NorCal is pretty pozzed, our water sources are also tapped heavily to supply the southern half of the state.

I think people need to stop fantasizing/philosophizing on a hypothetical second civil war and start making a serious checklist on the people around them and their local security. People can spectate as much as they want about these online civil war hypotheticals, but if you are in the potential danger zone (which I assume most people on here are Americans) then realize if you don't prepare and things actually blow up then you are screwed.

Controversial to say but the further breakdown of the supply chain due to acute balkanization would be terrible, and before any LARPing can be done you better be sure you can feed yourself and your family first. It won't really matter if the libs are owning the cons or the cons are owning the libs if you are starving to death.

Of course - if you are already self-sufficient, and have some sort of plan for what to do if things explode, then carry on.

I don't think it would be "the Republicans", but yes, an anti-SoCal belligerent can close Hoover Dam and reduce SoCal's water by 15% (there's also the desalination plants and the Californian aqueduct). Definitely enough to bring attention to conspicuous overconsumption.
