Despite that quote LBJ had to call in every favor and twist lots of arms for the 1964 Civil Rights Act to pass. A lot of criticism came from the Kennedy loyalists of the DNC, since he really wasn't worse than any other politician, JFK/RFK included, just better at it than they were.

LBJ was many things but he had power, which earned him respect (no matter how grudgingly) and as a result was able to make alliances to pass legislation and follow through on his policies. Biden is a senile decrepit pedophile that has no one's respect, to the point Obama never bothered to hide he shit talked him, and he can barely manage to get any of his agenda passed in Congress despite the Democrats controlling both Houses.

The big grift is Green energy, You have predatory financing for the solar panels on people homes, you have alot of games that can be played with land leases for big arrays, contacts can be handed out, so much room for grift and the best part is you have paper energy sure there are days where the wind doesnt blow or the sun doesnt shine, but fuck just fire up a power plant using russian gas, or coal from somewhere else, and fudge numbers to make the green paper energy work.

Now I fucking love nuclear power, you get no CO2, the energy density is fucking great, Now the US built a reactor in 2016 and the one before that in the early 1990s The US should and could build a newer fleet of reactors but there just isnt the room for grifting you have only a hand full of companies that can do the work.

What any country needs is to understand that they need a good functional foundation so shit work with nice margin for tolerance and then us that base to grow shit and then grift on the top.

Only skim the cream from the top of the barrel if the barrel is overfilled. That way it looks like you’re helping solve the problem of excess. This should be drilled into every child before we let them run for office

Regarding the issue of Civil War; having seen some left wing memes of the "Actually...." variety, cooked up by butt-hurt libs who got tired of all of the "red states would win a civil war" copypasta, I figure I should offer up the left's view on the subject I've seen floated around:

1. The left truly believe the rest of the world (Europe and Canada in particular but also the UN) will unilaterally support the blue states in a civil war and send troops to help crush the red states.

2. This includes food, as far as "refuting" the claim that the left would starve by saying that the UN and other countries would send all sorts of food to the blue states and cities to let them eat well with no period of starvation.

3. That the left controls the internet and media, meaning that they'll control the narrative cutting us off from any outside aid by portraying red states as literal hitlers

4. Tracking shit in technology will let them hunt down spies and sabatouers and traitors and rebel nests.

5. That the left control most of the ports and will simply destroy the roads and ports in red states to isolate the right.

6. And finally, carpet bombing uber alles as the left will use every bomb short of nuclear bombs to rain death upon red states until they submit and surrender.
