Wow Vesper going straight into another collab, he sounds pretty energetic too, I honestly expected him to be completely exhausted lol.

Having zoomer friends and family, I was only aware of flossin, snapchat streaks, "texting rules", and hit the woah. Also just by watching the occasional rap MV, kpop stuff, and certain content creators.

Meanwhile on the other side, I'd expect a lot of the normie zoomers I know to be aware of almost all the things Vesper mentioned(some weren't even that old) through cultural osmosis like watching popular shows and movies, only the tamagotchi which was an easy one for Bae would probably be the only one to stump em.

I would have thought so too but then I remembered how in middle school I had classmates who couldn't comprehend that the pilgrims didn't have video games. Some people are just really ignorant of everything that existed before themselves.

That felt more innocent then I was expecting. The boy was just trying to get the gun to work in what is effectively a tutorial session and he didn't get it. I expect him to try to rambo and get overwhelmed once he ran out of ammo.

Plenty of computer programmers younger than probably mid-30s couldn't tell you how a local network (let alone the Internet) works or more than a cursory explanation of the hardware side. People can basically completely avoid dealing with that stuff unless it's actually specifically required by their job or hobbies.

Zoomers are worse with computers than even the most incompetent millennial. They've grown up in an environment where they spend more time using phones and tablets where anything they want is spoonfed to them by a corporation so they never actually understand how it works under the hood; and if it goes wrong there's no point in learning how to troubleshoot it since mobile devices are built to be replaced after a year or two anyway.

Even for schoolwork now they're just using Google Docs or an equivalent so they skip learning absolute basics like file/folder structures, using external devices for backups etc..

I won't judge the cute rrat too harshly. Until recently, I didn't have the frame of mind to realize that my mamaw and papaw never experienced things like pizza and fast food until they were already adults. It was always easier for me to imagine them not being familiar with tech, but that kind of food has been so ubiquitous in my life that I never took the time to realize that a lot of the different types of food I grew up eating didn't blow up until the middle of the 20th century and took even longer to get where I live. So yeah, if we assume Bae really is in her very early 20's then she probably doesn't have many memories before 2003-4.

I don't think there's too many. At least, not many that I've seen. Most of them probably committed suicide after watching Gura play like my cousin used to when she was 3 years old. It's possibly one of her worst moments as a gamer lol. I can't tell you how happy I am we still get to see Hbox vs Mango in 2022 and they still perform at the highest level. That's sick.

That's my girl! I'll always be ecstatic to see Towa doing well for herself. Not even in a numberfag way, but just as proof that she's completely moved past all that garbage after her debut. She didn't help herself by being dishonest, but she didn't deserve all the unfiltered hate she got. She's definitely my favorite JP girl.
I mean just listen to that laugh in the middle of this clip. Absolutely heaven sent.

Speaking of Towa, I didn't see anyone mention it but she's going on an extended break. I hope she uses that time to it's fullest extent to do whatever she wants. I'll surely miss her, but I ain't selfish enough to ask her to keep going when she needs some time off.
