Example:
Proton Newsletter, with inline image attachments. You can see the attachment icon in the INBOX, but when you click it, next to the date, there is no attachment icon.
View attachment 3675653
View attachment 3675654
Example with sent mail, inline attachment:
View attachment 3675657
No attachment icon, and no downloadable attachment, just in the body.
So, he could've just used inspect element to delete the inline attachment in this case, right? Then his screenshot is clean..
But, when you use the inline attachment, it seems that it's all globbed together with the text in an iframe, I haven't been able to inspect element out my own inline images without also deleting all of the text.
Try it out. I can't get it to delete.
But, in both cases, whether it was an inline attachment or attached, it seems very weird.
If the attachment WASN'T inline, he would have to have:
Deleted the downloadable attachment with inspect element
Deleted the attachment icon next to the time with inspect element
If you remove the downloadable attachment with inspect element, the blue border will conform. Mostly.
Same thing with the attachment icon in the top right, you can inspect element it out no problem.
I just don't understand why he would do that?
Why all that just to "make lucas sperg" (check his posts, he did admit that he doctored the image.) instead of just providing the raw mail, unedited?
I hope I make sense because this is a bit fucked, also extremely autistic.
But I agree, very strange, it's been strange from the beginning. Guessing a password of the account someone committed a crime with and all. I guess people are very retarded, though.
