Hey, at least it had a better ending than Mandalore's server where they had a janny uprising and racewar, and just ended up getting deleted because everyone involved in running it was some kind of autism elemental.

Sorry to disappoint, but I don't have any logs. I really only used it for the proto-lowry shitposting channel, and one day it was just gone, I had to piece the story of what happened together from talking to a couple of people, and asking around the PST discord before it was terminally cancerous.

Their entire cultural identity revolves around being notamerican. This isn't an exaggeration or a joke, their national self-conception is "I am not from the US, and I have a huge chip on my shoulder about this". No surprise that a culture-wide little brother syndrome breeds the sort of activity it does, from leafposters all the way down to violent troons.

This is 1000% true. The entirety of their modern existence has been insecure discussions about how to differentiate their culture from the US, if you listen to a bit of their political show panels around major events. The recent 150th anniversary of confederation was like a whole fucking year of this.

This is something I experienced first hand while visiting. EVERYTHING was plastered in anti-Trump or american political pieces. They were all snippy and if they thought you were from out of town they'd put on that icy 'polite' tone that barely hid the venom in their voices. Even their museums featured weird coping about when they totally done beat the US that one time or a hypothetical attack where Canada sure would ownzone them.

It was surreal and explained why many Canadians I met act similarly in non-personal spaces.

I know politically speaking, Quebec has a big separatism spirit, and has wanted to leave the country for a long ass time. Anything the rest of Canada votes on, Quebec will vote the opposite. The country has actually voted on this several times, and the last time was about a 55/45 split. If it wasn't for the policies of Trudeau's father, the country would already be split.
I'm talking of course as an American, so I actually have no idea what I'm talking about at all.

Not only did they announce they're trans, but they retweeted some furry vore shit. Not that him being into that was a surprise to those in the know, (somebody posted a bunch of evidence of him hanging out in furry vore livestreams and shit earlier in the thread) but i can't imagine being just some average joe gamer who followed them a couple years ago because of the no mans sky videos, and then get flash banged like this out of nowhere.

Frankly, i respect that he just pulled the pin and went nuclear. He could have easily pulled a Narcissa and believed his old audience would stick around, better to just rip the Band-aid off.
