yesterday Kobo having a zatsudan before supachat talk, it was start like it was a meltdown.
But basically she addressing the viewers backseatting on how she should stream, like not being toxic due she is affiliate with Japanese company or need to be family friendly channel cant swear. it used to not affect her but it get to the point she start doubting herself and then ask to M-chan herself about the insecurity of her being vtuber that represent JP company, if she should following JP culture as well for being seiso or not?

to summarize, M-chan actually the one who pushed her to just keep being herself, to keep being toxic. and what i like the most when kobo said and i quote (correctly if i wrong) "we already know you are toxic, then if its a problem why would we accept you to join? yeah sure. we are japanese company, but then why a branch exist then? being a vtuber don't need to be seiso and you dont need to act cute either."

Maybe this is related to or why Zeta had such a long rant in her stream earlier today as well. I'm actually going back now and listening to the beginning of that stream of hers that I missed originally, so I'll have to see if she ever gives a reason why she starts off on that.

edit: Actually I was just about to where I joined last time. Still not really sure what started it. She just says she wants to talk about it and then launches into it in ID and from the translations starts talking about how she has recognized that she has some haters/antis and from there goes off. Maybe related to Kobo too since she mentions supporting all of holoID but not sure that was the only reason.

Tempus excessively talks about sniping, which while it may be happening, they should tone it down.

Axel I think is the worst. It is hard to watch their gaming/Apex sessions when he is involved. They keep saying he is just trash/smack talking, but honestly he just comes across as a huge whiner most of the time.

Irys also said that right after she got into Hololive they told her that they already found a couple people for Council. She mentioned that it's better to audition earlier than later because you have a higher chance to get in if you apply early.

I think it'd still apply slightly, since part of the idea is getting people that mesh together, and if there's already 4 people you might not be the person that meshes with those 4 even if you're the 'best' on paper. So if you get in the 'group' earlier you'd be one of the ones they are building around instead of being the one that has to fit in.

I also checked the VOD or rather the liveTL transcript at holodex, imo it seems unrelated to Kobo. She ranted about haters in general, that they say how fake she is and how people backseat her content. Here the full transcript:

Kiara murdered the shit out of a clipper who tried to frame that she was jealous about the Ame/Ina/Kronii/Mumei/Fauna offcollab. Clipper privated the video and went into hiding for weeks. Had it coming. He was stoking drama about Kiara for months. Even asked Ame to cry on stream for his benefit after she tweeted she was going to cry.

That was Kami Clips. He was also trying to hire people to edit clips for him for very cheap so that he could then upload them and get profit from ad revenue basically turning Hololive clips into a business.
Kiara also (along with other talents) shat on OtakMori for poorly translating things to create drama and constantly trying to clickbait by making thumbnails misquoting or implying that X talent said something shitty to try to farm clicks.

Tempus excessively talks about sniping, which while it may be happening, they should tone it down.

While I agree that it's not as bad as they make it out to be, there are some games where you can assume that they are just getting stream sniped.

Anyone else not really like ShoTam's clips? Too many effects and shit added in.

First time I have seen them. It seems that they are trying to imitate Maxor style of video editing but less intensive and on clips instead of a video. Looking at it, it's amazing editing but as you say, it feels so heavy and bloated. I would assume that he is just trying to appeal to the zoomer/tiktok/vine crowd. I sometimes use the dings and "vine boom" sound effects mainly because I know zoomers will like that but I just try to keep things as simple as possible. Cutting, rearranging, adding images, adding sounds, maybe adding text, and finally adding a bgm. I'm somewhat jealous of "low effort clips" for his name because that basically applies to what I do.

It's an epidemic I'm afraid. I can barely watch clips anymore, it's all the same stupid effects and memes over and over and over and over

Zoomer generation has ADD and they need shit constant sounds and shit popping up on the screen to stay invested.

That basically sums up the vast majority of the people that suddenly have joined the alphabet soup. They want to feel special, quirky, and unique. Similar to the people that list all of their mental illnesses in their Twitter bio, it's a way to call attention to yourself for being a special little snowflake. Not only are you getting the participation trophy but mom is throwing a pizza party because you got 8th place out of 8.

How come the ones I usually like, are the ones that end up at the bottom when it comes to subs? That said I feel that even if they have less subs, they tend to have the more dedicated fanbase. Hell Pippa was at the ass end of her gen until they all got to about 30k.

Honestly the only thing that could work without turning completely gay would be a small forum thats basically just a thread thats a copy of this one and maybe threads for big events to avoid the live update spam. Finding someone willing to set it up and deal with moderation/issues with roommate content might be the hurdle. Also its probably going to take the people that only use KF for this thread some time to check here now that we are tor only.

If my memory serves me well, there were actually two. Started by two different people. Not sure if either are still around.
I was in the first one way back during the initial scare and used it to get news of the farms being down but I don't know what happened to it.

If people don't want to fuck with setting up an actual forum, there's always the last resort of going to some small anonymous imageboard that allows anyone to make and moderate a board, using similar rules as here and just making a general board. Although, if like a third of the people from this thread went there, we'd probably overrun the actual userbase of most of the sites I can think of.

That's not a bad idea. I threw up an account in case anyone puts something together.

It's a shame though. We already splintered off when we moved to RU and now we splintered again to TOR. I feel like a lot of the average users here have no idea what the hell that even is.
More and more people aren't aware of where we are anymore. Not enough of us followed the Telegram page =(
