The Endless Drum Beating

The only consolation is that Lucas Roberts and his ilk are turning on each other now, as they always do. That, and I'm sure we'll find our way out of this. I just don't know how we'll do it.
what's going on? i can't stand to see the gloating so i'm staying off twitter

This site can probably go dark for a while and let them go eat their own, as is (sadly) the way of the left and their love of circular firing squads.

But, like I've said, I don't think it's them.

Many sites I used to like have gone away for various reasons.
I will get along just fine without this place if it comes to that.

The larger issue is the ruling class arbitrarily silencing sites by declaring them terrorist. And make no mistake, this isn't just a troon mafia operation. They are disposable cannon fodder in the larger class war.

But the biggest issue is the conversations that cannot be had IRL.

The enemy want you to think you're all alone.

Seeing a lot of posts about Nulls "would rather go down entirely than be a Tor-only site" I gotta say I don't agree with him at all on this, other than the idea that yes, Tor is a little bit of a hump for normies to get over and staying isolated in here forever would end in this place decaying into an echo chamber.
Nah. I get where he's coming from with that. Not much of a celebration of free speech if the place is metaphorically "on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.” "

That isn't to say I agree with shutting down rather than being Tor only. In troubled times sometimes you do need to bunker for a while. But I do understand.

Take care Null. I think the posts on this thread alone are testament to the impact this shitposting forum has had on so many of us. I know it's not necessarily ideal, but I agree with the sentiments that it is worth keeping the site up on Tor for at least the time being, if possible.

The only reason I wasn't already using Tor was due to the convenience of being constantly logged in on Brave. Having to grab my password when I want to check the site is no major shift really. It's absolutely worth it if it means the forum stays up in some capacity.

At this point i really just want the farm last at least till Null's 10th year anniversary of this site.Anything after that not really matter to me tbh

I mean I get where he's coming from with that and I partially agree, I just don't agree that it's worse than this place not existing at all.

As the saying goes...necessity is the mother of all invention.
This site needs to be archived regularly.

This will get figured out.

The nuts and bolts of it will need to change, and that won't be quick.

It will need to go underground.
It will need to be decentralized.
It will need to be community resources.

I do think that Elon Musk and Starlink could play a big role. He told the government to fuck off when they wanted him to cut Russia off from using Starlink, and he regularly has disdain for political figures.

The question is, will he actually do it, and is his version of free speech the same as Kiwifarms which is "If someone say something that makes me uncomfortable (not targeted violence) I'm definitely in the right place".

Thoughts and prayers, o venerated Cornlord. No matter how much these degenerate faggots try to censor and control, they will forever be the laughing stock of anybody with functioning eyes, a functioning nose (God forbid you get a whiff of that belly button stank) and more than two braincelss. No matter how much they cope and sneed, how smugly they dilate while reading this post or lie to themselves that they're in the right, our laughter will forever echo in their ears, in their dreams. So long as there are people willing to discuss, there will be discussion. You can't stop an idea. Therefore, NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER

The options I see for us here (keep in mind that I'm a Tech Pleb and I might say something retarded):

RightForge:

- Is openly right-wing.
- Claims to be dedicated to creating a "cancel-proof" service.
- Claims to want complete internet freedom.
- Has cut ties with Truth Social. This was due to the unpaid debt and not due to content.

LBRY:

- Blockchain based network.
- Founder is a Mises Caucus libertarian who also founded the Free State Project.
- They are committed to free speech.
- Since the network is block-chain based, they can't really ban us from there. They can only de-list us from their search results.

Fediverse:

- I have no idea how Fediverse actually works. I only know that people think it's cool.
- We already have an instance there (Kiwifarms.cc).
- They have no DDoS protection of their own. So that would remain an unresolved issue.

Tor:

- Is virtually impossible to take us down from it.
- We need almost no third-party services in order to run it.
- Can only be accessed through Tor or Brave.
- Is really slow.

Epik:

- Claims to be pro-free speech.
- Has banned websites like 8chan from using their service. This was due to the fact that they were not autonomous and relied on other companies in order to operate, so they had to do what those companies told them to do. This might have changed since then and they might be more autonomous now.

VanwaTech:

- Claims to be pro-free speech.
- Has accepted 8chan after they were booted from Epik.
- Has relied on DDoS-Guard for protection in the past, and DDoS-Guard doesn't want to work with us anymore. Maybe they have created their own DDoS protection in the meantime. Their founder is known for creating DDoS protection services.

Feel free to tell me why any of these suggestions is retarded (they probably all are).

Take care of yourself and your family dude. And remember, whatever happens in the future; you're self taught and did far more than any of these child molestors could do, and Lucas "Keffals" Roberts will never be a woman.

This forum shits sucks but isn't even 1/1,000,000,000,000th as important as taking care of your family. Good luck.
