Unless 1776 is bigger than I thought, your DNS is being handled by someone else, and not the same as those who handle the Farm's DNS¹.
I meant API in a more general sense including protocols, libraries, terms of service, and so on. My point is that google has a history of fucking around with all of the above, making changes on a whim that break things. Admittedly I'm more familiar with the ongoing arms race between youtube (part of google) and third party client developers than gmail's smtp access (I don't use gmail), but google's capricious behavior making changes seems to happen across the board.

I love the thought of these assholes flushing money down the toilet in large amounts just to annoy us. I know it’s a headache for Null and that sucks, but the silver lining is they’re hurting themselves financially.

Not all that much of a headache, apparently. It seemed to me to be mostly a matter of waiting for the hosting company's techs to get back from their weekend.
While failing in their intention. I mean we're here, aren't we? The Farms are up. All that money they're pissing away basically bought them, what, a day and a half of downtime? Essentially they've spent a shitload of money accomplishing something that a router admin fuckup could have done accidentally for free.

I hope not. It's the reason I joined the farms. I would read about Chris and then predict his antics.
Profiling and understanding his m.o. was what got me into the forums and practice diy phycology since he's so well documented and a community that has been super helpful in my studies.

I don't want to power level but after years in the industry I never seen them revoke up address, dns entire, or limit tld
The domain registar might do it but I never heard of icann doing it. They have larger matters to worry about then a"mean board" , they will just ignore those complaints.
The dns host on the other hand is different. Same thing with routing your ips, a carrier/provider can drop it off it's too much of a headache since is a privately owned business.
If KF wants to be bullet proof and in the open, not just on tor, it needs to operate like the pirate bay. It's a lot of work.... And the dns hosting needs to be figured out: tpb is using cloudflare. Maybe a "handshake" domain?
Another issue is the troons ddos ing. Providers get sick of that shot clogging their network. Mitigating it will be great as it show cases their capacities but is it worth the squeeze.

It won't, it will get a lot worse since the sources for historic details will be provided by reddit, kengle, idiots looking for clout, etc...

Someone on Reddit posted links to a CWCki backup. I cannot guarantee the safety of these files and I didn't check to see if they all work, but the first one is 450 MB. The post was soon deleted and the thread locked with no explanation because that's how Reddit does things. I used Unddit to recover the links. Basically you replace "re" in reddit.com with "un".

Thank you for recovering it! I downloaded them, checked with an antivirus and it's a mirror of the CWCki up to July 2017. The links work, the search bar not of course but you can add the page name to the address bar or just go through the links at the bottom of the pages, the images open up, the few videos I checked are still embed.
The guy who originally distributed it is a faggot, you find this file when you open the folder:
