The Endless Drum Beating

It honestly terrifies me how much censorship has won. I remember only recently the mob, TRAs included were seen as a few fringe weirdos in universities, collectively laughed at and nothing to worry about. Since they have graduated their cushy schools, they have infiltrated every corporation, every service, and every industry. They are colonialist missionaries with only one goal in mind. Colour me dramatic but this trajectory is honestly concerning. These hormone bath soaking crybabies have turned the internet into a husk of its former self, it may as well be day time TV 2.
Best of luck in your personal life, Null. But when your back, don't let them win. This website has been a cathartic release for so many of us whose social circles have been tainted by this shit. I value this place so much, even if some threads and posts are disagreeable to me, that's the beauty of viewpoint diversity and free speech. You're bound to find something/someone you vibe with, if not everyone.
If tor or domain hopping is the way to go for now, then so be it.

Dang it, I just learned that Brave's iOS app doesn't have Tor access and the only other app that does has been deprecated since 2020. I wanted to sneed on the go like I used to. (:_(
Investigate VPNs. I've heard of two that will automagically convert onion links for you so you can view them in a regular browser, maybe if you're lucky VPNs will be generic enough to have a functioning app. Downside is it costs money, though.

When I say investigate VPNs, I really have to emphasize investingate. One of the two I know of that supports tor like this is ProtonVPN, which is honestly kinda iffy now. They got such a big reputation they must be made of honey.

The other is IncogNET. I have nothing bad to say about them other than that they're not taking new clients last I checked.

But there may be more VPNs with this feature out there...

Fuck trannies
Fuck jews
Fuck jannies
And niggers too
We're never going away and as long as there are retards on the Internet there will be a place to point and laugh at them, this is but a temporary setback.

At least someone here has accepted reality besides Jersh. It's not too late to give up this bullshit and join the side of common sense.

Don't forget the 41%. This is a problem that will literally solve itself as long as sane people wait it out.

You are and will always be the minority. Enjoy having your family rat you out to the feds for supporting wrongthink. Maybe in the next life you'll see sense and join the winning side.
FUCK that's what they told me in the last life. I was hoping I chose the correct winning side this time for sure. fuck man. What winning side has ever stayed around forever anyway.

This place is already dead. You all lost to censorship and there is nothing you can do is seethe and cry.

They will last forever due to the sheer amount of support they get from the general public.

- Being behind Tor allows you to hide from your hoster. That means, they can know you're hosting something on Tor, but they don't know what service it is. Often, darknet websites are hosted somewhere but don't connect to the network directly from there, but from one or several servers connected to the main server by a middlebox. That hides further the identity of the service. That's how darknet marketplaces are run, for example.
- No, you don't need more resources, but if you really want to hide your service you need to make a good setup, and that can be difficult.
- If you don't hide from your hoster you still can be taken down by them
- No, without a security breach into your server no one can take your onion address from you or impersonate you
Tor is actually the least secure of the darknets.

Tor can be front or back proxied at the start or ending nodes. Sending HTTP unencrypted can then reveal your creds if you connected to a malicious entry node or exit node, and there have been a number of them over the years.

But then if you go HTTPS and are not careful to silence the origin from answering requests that are not coming out of the proxy, you can locate the origin by scanning IPs looking for anyone announcing the telltell digital certificate.

Josh opted for the HTTP route.

I2P does not have this problem and so long as you aren't fucking up your service configuration, you will not be locateable on this network. The taking down of Silk Road, which was on I2P, relied on social engineering tactics. So in terms of anon, it's a good network. It's encrypted end to end. It also has botnets but they are trained for DDoSing the clearnet, not other I2P hosts. Given how each Euro country has less than a dozen public nodes, jeapordizing getting IPTable'd from the good publics is not something anyone wants.

Yggdrasil is the most promising. The chief dev's day job is at Matrix, where Fediverse thinking is religion. This proof of concept network is not fully anon, but it is much faster than all the darknets because of its routing plan. It uses IP6 ip addresses that are a hash function of your node key, so you can recycle your IP at anytime, and nothing is geoencoded.

Fully E2E encrypted and there is not a reliance on any given pathway for traffic, making analysis much harder. This network is much smaller than any of the others but given its good performance it is a great network for hosting behind double NATs and locked down DMZs

I know i'm 42(%) pages late, but godsneed Null. Hope your family issues resolve and turn out A-OK.
The cathedral is massively overplaying their hand. They may be able to axe us, possibly 4chan and other popular 'free' sites, but the pendulum will swing back, and it will swing back hard.
And slowly, i began to hate them.

Your only bastion of free speech is gone forever and all you can do is cope and seethe.
Really? I appear to be on it right now via the power of the feds themselves. I don't know what you think you're accomplishing. There will always be alternatives operating at some level of the network seen or unseen until the day the bombs fall and we all meet at the great shitpost in the sky.

Funny meme numbers aside, the penny will drop eventually when more of these cult members eventually leave. Not necessarily through suicide, through simply changing their minds because they got pinkpilled at an impressionable age, or they were finally targeted by their own people for some perceived blasphemy. Like you say, wait it out.
