I saw that Joseph Stalin made a new account on metokur.us where people immediately started giving him shit for being a KF refugee. Can someone with an account there go DM him and get grandpa home, please? I would do it myself, if I had an account.

Minor quibble, but the lower estimate is now IIRC generally accepted as ~35-40 million. The sheer scale of it and closed, rural nature of China at the time makes it incredibly unlikely China got away with only 15 million dead.

Yang Jisheng's Tombstone does a very good (if brutal) job of reinforcing this likelihood too.

The push will only make us more resilient, and show the centers of control's hand. Honestly, it's kind of a relief to see them act so overtly, especially when Keffals et al open their boring mouths and proclaim victory. It's a sign of their incompetence.

You didn't see Allen Dulles brag about how he managed to exacerbate the Cold War or rescue high-level Nazi assets. And, as you see in the fracture between Henry Kissinger and the current Global Chess players, a confident authoritarian system doesn't constantly lose elections or proxy wars if it has a long shelf-life.

Same! That drama was full of people reluctantly posting KF links with "they're awful BUT they are always accurate" comments that led me here. It was fascinating watching the "author's" story crumble in real time as a result of this place. And from then on, I knew where to go to get unfiltered info about online grifters.

brave is absolute garbage. if I hadn't installed it first I would've transitioned to Tor. Instead I got stuck behind bullshit blocks and only got back on today. Did anything actually newsworthy happen this weekend?

He posted yesterday so he seems to be fully in the loop of how things will work from now on. Outside of our favorite helicopter enthusiast (god speed on the operating to retrieve him) I'd say most of the usual suspects from my lurking days seem to be accounted for.
