Pippa seems actually a bit sad no one showed up for her thing except Shiina who got globohomoed. Airi not showing up is probably a bad sign as she's the only one Pippa worked with so far directly.

(I refreshed as fuck to post this, I'm that much of a tard)
Airi posted earlier in the day she couldn't stream because of work issues. She is also in CA and they are dealing with the heat. Remi is sick, Rie is on family vacation and Lia is dealing with the CA power blackout also.

Remi: Covid, School, Airi: Work work work, Lia: It's Lia, Rie... oh no the cub scout bus broke down, who can give them a place to stay....
It's too bad, I though the idea was to have all of gen 2 but maybe they didn't plan ahead enough to actually get them to set up minecraft (Gen2 have fucked up many times with it somehow) and remember what time zones are.

She didn't seem too too bad all in all, understandably she wanted more around but this was just almost hilariously shit luck with everyone else all having various issues and reasons for missing it (I think this is also the first big Phase collab Pippa has set up, I know she has been in some but I don't think she led the charge before). It did sound like from what Pippa was saying and some of the chat in Yubi that the Fish seems to be a bit reluctant to let them on it and it was a fight to get this date, would hint that this date was set well ahead and none of them intended to miss it.

Airi specifically has apparently been getting worked like a dog at her IRL job
I see what you did there.

Lia is dealing with the CA power blackout also.
Fucking Californians. If they're based just find a way to move them to a not shithole area.

I don't know man, it's rather rare for her to end a stream early unless she's in pain. I don't think she's mad at anyone in specific, but Pippa is a die hard in terms of how seriously she takes her job and I can imagine her viewing an influx of people who just blow things off for other work as unsettling. Remember her big thing with Miao and others was that they didn't respect the people that were giving it their all in hopes of really making their dream a reality. That's something I really like about Pippa, even if I don't have the same aspirations as her, I can understand the drive and desire that she has for her thing and how being around people you don't dislike but aren't in the same mindset can feel grinding.

Okay I will agree once Shina got knocked out due to being in a shit hole that she was at a loss and definitely didn't know what to do with the steam at that point and so ended it. I suppose I meant more at the start of the stream she seemed okay and I kind of spaced the ending bit where she was putting the strong face on. I want to say (though with my memory I probably have this wrong) that she does end earlier if the theme/purpose of the stream doesn't end up filling the usual 3 hours and there isn't enough time to really do anything specific with what's rest.

And yes Pippa's dedication to her craft is a much appreciable thing and is one of the things that have had me keeping up with her even if I don't care about the what she is playing/doing.

I have finally caught up and come to give you this tale in two parts:
Kiwi Friendly Shiina.pngKiwi Shiina Gets Dropped By Cloudflare.png
Kind of an odd choice for her to pull something that could be interpreted as an "act of solidarity" with the site while it has the ire of the world right now but I appreciated it, even if it was just a joke. Also the Cloudflare error was way too good to be true, I have trouble believing this wasn't somehow planned.

Maybe, but she did apologize to people on the server that had plans for events that ended up being cut when Shiina had to leave and she ended an hour early. Like I said, I don't think she's mad at anyone in specific and I think it's more just a general vibe type of thing, with maybe Airi being the only person she doesn't gel with. It just seems like when you look at the work effort of Pippa, Tenma, and others in gen one of Phase compared to the new cast you get a very different sense outside of maybe Shiina and Lia. I'm not hating on anyone, but I can get why someone can feel a little bummed that they had this group of true grinders and now there's a wave of less dedicated people coming in, and maybe it makes sense why Airi is getting the most flack because while it makes sense to hedge and have a job in addition to streaming, it does show the person isn't as serious about the streaming company as those who do it full time as their primary source.

It's rather odd timing and she did mention how Null isn't banned from her channel specifically. There are probably tons of people who don't like KF being dead, because even DSP seemed to be a bit disheartened about the topic and his KF users are nuts.

Lumi checked it out when Pippa gave her a tour.

She can't really be mad at anyone its just a bunch of things happening at the same time and overall she really does enjoy her Yubicraft streams. Its basically the closest thing she has to openly interacting with a forums-type crowd and often she rants a bit or talks about her menhera moments. I did a highlight clip of the Lumi visit and I think up to date its one of my favorite streams she has done (easily top 5).

That entire video was almost the exact experience I had, but it cut off a tiny bit earlier for me:
I quickly refreshed to try to see the beginning of Ame's stream before it went private, because I heard about 3d scuff. I just got to see about 10 seconds where she was singing James Brown - I Feel Good, and as she sang "I feel good, so good, I got you! YEAUGHH" her body twisted into an eldritch horror. I couldn't tell if the shriek was just how she sings that song, or if she was reacting to her body, and then the stream went private with wondrous comedic timing.

Shiina self-censored her loli model and dunked on the twittards at the same time, our poor feeder should be proud. On the side note, I'm impressed with those 10-to-20-minutes shorts Vesper is posting recently: they explain the basic mechanics of each game, show why he's enthusiastic about it and cut off at a cliffhanger of sorts, so you feel more inclined to check out the full stream instead of just relying on the short intself.

Trannies can't sing as well as she does.
Also an actual tranny would never admit they might not know something about a woman's body, because they have one themselves (you fucking transphobe).

Sometimes shit just happens. This reminds me of a tale I had forgotten, where Pippa was supposed to play Attack on Titan with Tenma. Pippa ended up canceling though due to ending up sick. Tenma streamed it was mostly the usual, a bit unenergetic and she clearly had planned it around the two of them goofing off. Toward the end Pippa showed up in chat and Tenma said something along the lines of "I thought you were sick?" or whatnot.

And iirc /vt/ took it and ran. "Tenma sounded so sad!" "Wtf Pippa you made her depressed" "Wow pippas such a shitty friend and genmate" type shit lol.
Hell I think I remember someone digging around and randomly found out she was sitting in some persons marbles stream on twitch while Tenma was streaming and it was like "Oh my gawd fuck pippa cancel cancel" yadda yadda. As if showing up in a chat takes some huge amount of effort, not just sitting on your fucking phone in bed. Especially for twitch marbles of all things.

THE END OF THEM! PEKOMIKO ALL OVER!

Clearly they've been fine since that happened ages ago, hence why I'm saying try not to read into things too much. Airi's job really sounds almost like it's almost a black company shitfest, and while it's nice to believe that all the PC girls are doing so well that don't need jobs, it isn't always the case. I mean how long did some of the Niji girls take before they were like "Oh hey I quit my job for full time streaming now!" Pretty sure Pomu and Rosemi took months, I imagine there's a number of others.
Also don't forget, Airi's been getting royally fucked for monetization on youtube too. She literally cannot activate memberships for example, nor supas pretty sure. Unless fishman wants to Miao her ubereats and living costs, ditching her job isn't a great option.

i fuckink hate Poast, i really hope that one guy planning to host his own vt forum go through because i really dont care about the twitter format and all the "off-topic" culture war things that end up in the feed
I have to somewhat agree. I enjoy it as a place to shitpost, but it's no replacement for a proper thread.

I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to leave this site, but I'm certainly having my doubts that things will improve.
