A lucidly rare take and fleeting nugget of truth from someone of the Looney Troons persuasion. Correct- we aren’t *all* far-right trolls, as people tend to dismissively think. A lot of us are reasonable (and at times socially liberal) centrists who feel abandoned- in other words, ‘we didn’t leave them, they left us’ when they lurched so far to the left that the resulting insanity became unbearable. This individual apparently doesn’t grasp the crux of that realization, and how poorly it bodes for them.
They can easily laugh off criticism from the right. It’s basically a known fact that the right is critical of troonism, and they know that approval is not forthcoming, so it’s simply par for the course. Nay, the acknowledged problem here is that they’re losing the center.
They desperately need the center to keep things moving “positively” for their side, since centrists (a rather large bloc) will be blindly trans-affirming without seriously researching the subject, and will refrain from criticism out of desire/social prodding to be TOLERANT. When the insanity is getting so bad that you’re in danger of that crucial contingent slipping through your fingers (I’m sure the kid trooning and troons in women’s sports, among other things, is helping to further this in the normiesphere), you’ve got a big problem. You can survive as long as you have your partisan base and approval of the center. Once it’s just your base that’s left, you’re finished.

I know Jim took the Metokur name to troll Habermann, the guy who ran the site, because he became remorseful over his time on the site. And he DFE off the internet so only screenshots of the site remain.
