The Endless Drum Beating

Don't you know? Getting Archive.org to remove the archives of kiwifarms.net is only about harassment! Not at all about getting their criminal records removed
What gets me is imagine applying their argument to the holocaust.
Like expunging the record of hate is NOT a net positive.
"Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it"
So removing hate from the internet is a terrible precedent, but if that's what they want to do, then they need to be consistent-
->fall in line with holocaust deniers and start expunging historical evidence. Ask any Israeli if that's the right way to handle hate.
I dropped Google and DuckDuckGo from my search engine list precisely for what you describe. They are no longer reliable. Type 'kiwifarms' in Google, DuckDuckGo*, Brave Search and Bing - only Bing gives you actual links and results you'd more or less expect (wikis etc.), not a flurry of smearing articles. This is the most worrisome prospect - search engines actively censoring results.
Any source for this? I am using duckduck go and able to get telegram kiwi farms update page easily

The articles, from what I can see, are due to the relevancy of search.

There's a lot of buzz surround kiwifarms ,so pushing you to recent news articles is not censorship it's just by design.
Like googling hitter brings adolf hitler, but if some schmuck went on a crime spree with the same name then the results may be skewed toward recent events.

I know google has been removing DCMA stuff forever and filtering "misinformation" since pre-pandemic nothing new. But NOT duck duck go (hopefully)

I think this is going to be a huge net positive for KW. As people realize that removing something is a slippery slope.
Leave something alone, and let people use reason to figure out the validity of something;
just like man has done since dawn, and those unable to were eaten up by the shrewd and cunning tricksters.

When I say that censorship goes "both ways", it does not mean that I'm "pro-China" or "pro-Putin".
I just find it absurdly hilarious and also ironic that when a site gets banned/censored in China/Russia, the first thing that a lot of people do is say "look, we're so free here in the West!"
Now look at where we're now.
Kiwifarms has been censored and is currently being memoryholed by Big Tech conglomerates, and all of these pro-Censorship loons are enabling it and using their brainwashed followers to do it. All in the name of "stopping bullies and mean people".
Josh had to fucking move servers from Russia to China.
Ironically, both of these countries are infamous for censoring websites.
But this time? They were less authoritarian than the people who currently want to not only destroy a forum, but also all the evidence that incriminates them of acting like complete weirdos, creeps, or even groomers. These same people are narscistic, they have replaced and censored women's voices in multiple other forums alike.

Keffals was caught acting in the same way that someone in the incels.co forum would, but apparently it's totally okay and justifiable because it's "funny woman" saying it now instead of a creep. Right?
Speaking about censorship, look at these pretentious journalists who act more like Bloggers. All of them refuse to do the bare minimum, like, actually reading the fucking forum and thread they're writing about?
All of them coincidentally ignore the Catboy Ranch fiasco, Bobposting, and the entire Breaking Bad HRT hormone scenario, makes me wonder if they were paid by some organization or something.

Is this what you Westerners call the "free west"?
I have never seen Westerners acting so Soviet-like lately.

TLDR; Maybe we shouldn't judge China/Russia as much because the moment mass censorship arrives in the West, you'll be forced to resort to these two countries to even be able to think for yourself without the fear of being removed like Stalin did with his portaits.

I don't know how to fight this disease other than spreading awareness.
You're confusing the algorithm for censorship. That's not how search engines work.

Each system has their own way of dealing with searches based on their own algorithm and often times it's based on what people click on. The more clicks you get plus the more buzzwords you have in your metadata and the higher your result will be. The less people talk about you and it defaults to the places that have the most information on you.

It's like one of our lolcows that has gone mostly under the radar because he's become uninteresting and has more or less stopped posting stuff to the internet the Muncie Molester a.k.a "James Terry Mitchell Jr" of Muncie, Indiana. Type that into Google and the Orchards comes up as the 3rd choice.

Type in "James Terry Mitchell Jr" into DuckDuckGo and the Orchards are the first choice.

Type in "James Terry Mitchell Jr" into Bing and we're again the first choice. Does that mean that Google is censoring results? No. It means that more people are using Google and clicking on other things other than the Orchards. That's it.

No need to get all bent out of shape because some search engine doesn't bring us up as the first choice.

"Cancel culture" is getting to an insane new level. Even "Vordrak" wasn't this persistent.

The 2020s so far aren't exactly the best time to express "wrongthink".

I wouldn't consider it as simple as blaming the growth of cancel culture as a general concept.

I'd argue that specifically Twitter is the sourfe of what we consider cancel culture, its message limits are ideal for spreading misinformation, debunking a claim takes significantly more words and if Twitter staff side with the disinformation for political purposes, then there isnt much you can do about it.

Misinformation is primarily how this went from a few angry twitterites to the entire site, then journalists cited tweets as facts to make it global.

A strawman was created of a mega murder isis site that somehow manages to rape everyone, while still being legal in the sense that it has to be cancelled corporate pressure rather than shut down by police.

It's all the same stuff we're used to seeing being done to others, its just super focused on the forum right now and IMO it shouldn't even touch the clearnet for maybe a month, this huge wave of hate takes alot of coordination between the left and journalists, and it probably cant be restarted once it dies down.

I may not use the site all that much, but I'm highly pro-free speech, anti-censorship, and anti-deplatforming.
I'll be supporting Kiwi Farms for this whole situation, despite me not being able to do much to help.
I've personally had to deal with retards on Twitter cancelling me and spreading misinformation about me as well.
Same boat.

I don’t want to get in the way of things so I want to keep my interactions minimal and behave as to not lead something in the wrong direction. The most I can do is make it visible that I’m against the deplatforming and the like. If it gets taken away by this force, it’ll just appear elsewhere, but be in a rather grim state. Something about the potential of that outcome doesn’t sit right with me.

Duckduckgo is now pozzed too.
Dang thanks for the link.

Looks like they just scrape Bing anyway, so they don't really have control over what they show.

Using brave now; it sucks to have to use boolean search tho instead of just pure English like google allows.

I also hear Searx is the best any word on that?

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I still believe it would be a great idea to throw up a torrent of the forum content just in case.
No one is able to skew the actual information in said content to be anything else.

Our saint and leader wrote about an "extraordinarily promising phone call" on t.me/kiwifarms he received.
Could anyone please post a screenshot of the post? Too rarted to use telegram without a phone number and don't want to self dox in an embarrassing way.

Also to all the black pill people. I'd say be more gray pilled than black pilled. If everything truly is doom and gloom then just kill yourself because it's so "irrifutably" bad. I don't prefer to be oblivious to shitty situations but I'd rather be more hopeful/optimistic than just pure doom and gloom.

The servers are neither in Russia nor China. Don't be like the Twitter dumbos who think a .ru domain means your server is in Russia.

Come on, let them think we're in China now.
Damn, now you see what I meant?
While KF was down and I was unable to find the .onion link, all I had left was read Twitter/Reddit. I was told multiple times that KF had migrated it's servers to Russia, and now China apparently.
It seems that I was wrong, if I was misled, imagine others who know nothing about this whole situation.
