Around 85%-90% of migrants arriving in Washington on the buses continue to other U.S. destinations within hours or days, according to volunteers who assist them.

Bowser said the city is preparing for border crossings to increase in the fall, and for Texas and Arizona to send hundreds of additional buses to Washington.

"The crisis at the border is not lessening, it's getting worse," she said.

I can tell you right now where that $10 million is going. They're going to create 50 jobs in the office, hire a bunch of their friends, then pay them $200,000/year. I've not lived in a big city my whole life but you find out pretty quick that all this "Office of X Issue" spending goes right into the pockets of politician's friends and not to the issue that office exists to fix. Just another reason to cheat on your taxes.

If so then Texas, Arizona, etc should declare that and just start firing artillery at the border crossers. They'd learn to fuck off pretty quick if they know howitzers will blow their abuela to bits and turn their asses into carne asada.

There are 14 military bases in the state of Texas. Those are Federal assets. No governor in Texas is going to go to war over illegals if they can simply put them on a bus elsewhere. Stop acting like real life is a video game or an action movie.
