And? Are the feds going to send in the military to make sure illegals are protected? If they did then good. Doing so would only make the feds look less legitimate than they already are. Tell them to fuck off and dare them to piss off the population even more, don't just do passive agressive shit that doesn't solve any issues. There is no reason states should give a flying fuck what the feds have to say at this point, they are wholly illegitimate.

It's not a long term solution. Hundreds of thousands are crossing the border when less than ten thousand are getting shipped to sanctuary cities. It will eventually reach a boiling point. That or it gets ignored, we become a majority hispanic/African migrant country, and all semblance of western liberalism is destroyed. At some point the gibs systems will fail and the desire to risk the trek will lessen, but there's still morons telling people that if they just make it past the border, they'll be greeted with housing, high paying jobs, education, and healthcare.

I'm not saying it isn't a problem, of course it is, but its been one for over 30 years,. What I'm saying @Titos is proposing a dumb as fuck fantasy solution, one that would get laughed at by even the most anti-immigration officials out there.

Arizona was handling illegals as a state while telling the feds to fuck off barely over a decade ago. The only problem was they listened to some faggot judges who told them to stop when they should have told the judge to try and enforce their ruling. Outside of the obvious hyperbole of using howitzers nothing in my solution is outside the realm of reality. If the federal government won't protect the border from a defacto invasion then the states should and tell the feds to neck themselves if they try to stop them.

Arizona isn't as large and "diverse" as Texas, and McCain knew how to maintain his grift; Texas is the largest state in CONUS and truly diverse in the actual meaning of the word, but with all the California libshits congregating in Austin and propping up fake Mexican O'Rourke it would be nigh untenable, and thus impossible, without an IRL war with US military zogbots, who would not be Texans, guaran-fucking-teed.

There is no labor shortage, faggot. Pay people for the hours they work and treat them with respect. GOPe people think every worker is some shithead from a faggot city like Baltimore or Philadelphia who are womb-to-the-tomb welfare, not people who just want to do a job for the hours agreed and get a paycheck every two weeks. I see it in my head, the map of the country starting in border states like Texas and Florida being slowly turned from republican red to shinier MAGA red (a better red, yuge red, the best red), slowly moving inward into the country, so we have to wait for these deep red state entrenched faggots who have just been living the easy life to finally get their constituents in their faces.

There was a good Ace of Spades article today about how "quiet quitting" is just employees following the footsteps of their employers who are constantly looking to sell the company with zero loyalty themselves, so you shouldn't be surprised when you see your actions replicated by your employees.

Surely you have quiet quit and started your own business where you assume all the risk. Spend months if not years paying people who make more than you as you try to build your company up.

What great optics that would be. I'd be hard pressed to find a Texan who would actually agree to this power fantasy. Texas culture has a lot of Mexican immigrants, coworkers, family, friends throw a stone and you'll hit a beaner or someone who has some sort of relationship with one. Now imagine Texas starts making the border an ever present red mist, those legal immigrants will never vote republican again. Not only will you need to contend with Hispanics but other immigrant populations. Six Flags, an amusement park, is named as such honoring the six flags that once flew over Texas. Many of those immigrants are still in that state. Yeah, sure, you might temporarily "solve" border crossing but you also lose massive support. I don't know why I spent time replying, however, kindly fuck off from this mindset, it doesn't lead anywhere good.
