Trans shit always seems to utterly consume the creative lives of people who make media. Like, plenty of people write about their identities, but no group I know of is so obsessed with themselves. Gays, blacks, disabled people, religious minorities, I know authors from all those groups who've written about a wide range of stuff. Whereas nearly every trans writer I know of, once they transition at least, mostly just writes about trans shit. Like a psychic tumor. Octavia Butler didn't write about black women as much as Chubes writes and speaks about his LARP, and she didn't become a black lady like, two weeks earlier.

Or is it going to take its place as theatre's answer to The Room? Only time will tell. But it is worth pointing out that this will a live show. There's the potential for things to go seriously seriously wrong during any given performance. My money's on Olly slipping out of his troon voice at least a few times lol.

It will be a wet fart, as mediocre and boring as Olly himself. He's not capable of creating something actually interesting. Bad? Yes, but the kind that evokes indifference and genteel distaste rather than a so-bad-it's-good guilty pleasure. It's a vanity project by a narcissist incapable of seeing the world though any filter but his own myopia.
