After seven months ten thousand years it's finally time for another Direct!

Toothpaste-chan, Kid Icarus Uprising HD, the name reveal of the sequel to Breath of the Wild and Chris Pratt trying to be Mario. It's been a while so I am all ready to enjoy another round of salt when F-Zero once again fails to get a new game.

I'm hoping to see some gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy on Switch.. Not because I care about it, I just want to see how dogshit it's going to run.

Joking aside, I'm generally interested in this direct and hope at least one thing catches my interest, but still doubtful.

EDIT2: ENOUGH OF THE FARMING GAMES. A Harvest Moon game remake is cool and all, but goddamn this was filled with farm games.

EDIT3: Breath of the Wild 2 is now known as Tears of the Kingdom with a May 12th 2023 launch date.

Overall not a bad direct, I got my wish for something that caught my interest.

That's what all the Real Gamers love.

The live chat was pretty funny because a bunch of people were bitching about the game not being called "Harvest Moon", not realizing that Story of Seasons is Harvest Moon. As if a bunch of old HM games coming out with the SoS title didn't clue them into the fact that something happened with the naming rights.

I was always a little on the fence about A Wonderful Life. There are a ton of people that love it and think it is one of the best HM games, but I played it a bunch and it always seemed a little lesser. Though I put Magical Melody as my favorite so my opinion on this matter isn't worth very much.

Regardless, the A Wonderful Life remake was the best of the barrage of FARMCORE games that these faggots and trannies are going to mindlessly gobble up.

It's too bad the forum is in semi-death mode so we weren't able to talk about this more.

I found it interesting that some spergs on /v/ thought that the Direct was being delayed in the UK because of the "Tears of the Kingdom" subtitle. More like "Crocodile Tears of the Kingdom", amirite?

Twilight Princess looks like shit. Literally, it looks like someone took BotW and then wiped their ass with it. So muddy and brown.

The Tales of Symphonia remaster was cool to see, along with Radiant Silvergun and Kirby: Return to Dream Land Deluxe.....and that's about it in terms of things that got my interest in this Direct. Definitely pretty middling for me (although a certain subset of Ninty fans would be inclined to say otherwise).

I would love to have a Kid Icarus Uprising game to come out for the Nintendo Switch, since the 3DS version is still currently expensive to get on Ebay. Though, Tears of the Kingdom for Zelda looks pretty good. If this is just the base drop for working on Breath of The Wild 2, then I see no issue for this.

Huh? Tears of the Kingdom is BotW2, that was only ever a working title.

Anyways, I don't know how you guys could possibly be disappointed by half a dozen farm sims and twice that in PS2 ports.

Oh, now that makes sense. I kept thinking they were going to keep it simple and just call it: “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Part II”.

Then I realized that this is Nintendo, and not PlayStation trying to milk The Last of Us to the ground.

Pokemon Stadium duology and Mario Party N64 trilogy for Switch are neat, wasn't sure we'd get Stadium, let alone both.

In terms of new games announced, A Wonderful Life remaster, the new
Theatrhythm, and Raincode are interesting. I could never get into Front Missiom but I'll give it another shot. Fatal Frame is a series I always wanted to get into but never tried, maybe if this new one is a good entry point I'll play that.

Various Daylife sounds like it would have been decent if it wasn't overshadowed by Harvestella and A Wonderful Life. Pretty solid lineup.
