It's principally used as a joke but some people take it very seriously. I remember one guy on /a/ who was known for having Yuno as a waifu, because everytime her name was used on the board or when the context would allow him to talk about her, he'd pop on the thread in a matter of seconds to post and talk about their relationship. He'd take it very seriously and write a lot about their "daily life", sex included ofc. At some point he opened a website to explain how "meeting Yuno saved his life" and how Yuno loved him too. If someone else posted her, he'd attack him relentlessly because according to him, she was his waifu (and only his).
Eventually he migrated because people couldn't take his autism anymore.
Now, the question is, can it get worse than that?

By the way, he's the guy with a simple space in the name field (instead of the "anonymous"). I don't know how to research that particular username on desustorage (if someone knows, tell me), so I'll just show the content I already have.

Notice the date difference with other posts, meaning he kept true to this story for months, if not years, since I have not dug really deep.
The worst part is clearly the Taiwan story, where he described in detail how he fucked multiple 10-12 years old prostitutes. Unfortunately(??), I can't find this particular post, but he references that story in the spoiler box of the pic below
To sum it up, he's a diagnosed insane lolicon sociopathic violent prostitute-hiring pedophile waifufag who wants to fuck toddlers and has fucked up SM fetishes. I think he deserves a thread, I'm not sure I can find much more content than that though. Opinions?
