For some reason I can't reply to this one post in the thread because the reply option was missing, but anyway my own belief is these people feel helpless and lost in their lives, and they want to hurt someone, anyone, because of it. The same can be said of a lot of people. Damaging someone else's life because they disagreed with you in some stupid twitter debate is a source of dopamine to such people, and their bar for it is often really low.

The same motivations of helplessness or lack of direction and control within their own lives is what makes them troon out, or turn to coomery and other degeneracy. They feel entitled to having no boundaries and subjecting others to everything about themselves, then become angry when they get any pushback or a negative response.

It used to be considered a cold hard fact that anything you put on the internet was forever, and that seems to have been forgotten about by some of these people. Sure, I don't think ignorant shit you said 20 years ago should follow you around forever and destroy your life, but I also think your personal opinions or beliefs are irrelevant when it comes to seeking a job where they aren't relevant. A person's personal disbelief in troonism isn't relevant to their ability to operate a machine or write code, but these people want to destroy your finances, family and future just because of it, while at the same time believing that they themselves should be immune to their own lives being affected by their publicly facing beliefs and life choices. The hypocrisy of it is staggering.
