Insane proposal to fix the incel problem: Duel Guarding laws

This law would allow a man to select a woman he has legitimately fallen in love with to duel guard her, if she does not agree to marry him. The woman will not be forced to marry this man, but any man that wants to marry this woman will have to kill the man duel guarding her in formal combat, if said man loses the fight and ends up being killed he will be unable to marry her.

Men are only allowed to select one woman at a time to duel guard and can only switch women after one day.

How will this help solve the incel problem?

* It will lower the male population increasing the demand for men

* It will allow men to prove their love for women

* It will pressure women into marrying sooner in order to lessen deaths

* It will encourage men to become good fighters

* The only incels there are are men who are unable to fight.

* The divorce rate would lessen

I haven't had all the logistics figured out but I think this is a good idea, it will likely have to be in a society which criminalizes sex outside of marriage. I think it would be a good idea, or atleast a good premise for a stage play. What do you guys think?

That depends on the usual question of what an "incel" actually is.

If it's a self described incel, as in someone who is vocally upset about their dry dick, then those are more uncommon. I've met a few of the whiny self-pitying orbiter types of incels before, they're awful.

If it's just someone who isn't getting laid but kind of wishes they were, then that describes like 40% of the white American population these days, a number of which probably aren't technically single.
