The DDoS as far I've heard about it doesn't seem like anything sophisticated, meaning nobody is really throwing their weight here - it's just paid skiddy booter stuff anyone can do for cheap (costs $100/day, at most) + homemade L7 via bunch of proxies. It's also relatively cheap to deal with it on your own, ie without cloudflare.

When serious DDoS happens, only Cloudflare and other large CDNs can stand it, small guys on their own are out of the game - you need hundreds of boxes around the world and DNS anycast. This tier of the game typically involve ransom against a highly profitable target - that way you can monetize botnets for far more than just running skiddy "booter as a service". But there's nothing to extort from jewrsh, so no top scale DDoS happening, either. Nor I can see troons ponying up tens of thousands of dollars to seek out something like that. Individual won't pay it, and group funding is too risky a mole would expose it.

Until recent times men didn’t usually choose to be eunuchs. It was a class created by powerful rulers as a punishment and to ensure they wouldn’t get cucked and raise other men’s children, or try to start their own dynasties. The only guys trusted around concubines were eunuchs for obvious reasons.

But for the most part being made a eunuch was a punishment, for rape, treachery, etc and most eunuchs were slave labor. It was also a punishment placed upon the sons of traitors and enemies. Later on there were some who volunteered to castrate themselves to obtain positions in a royal household but for the most part a eunuch was a punished, enslaved man.
