Honestly, there's probably no proper record because it really is a footnote of Jim's Online presence. The result of deeper issues the OP and thread as a whole have covered well before I personally showed up her with the old account back in December.

It is uncanny just how many of these Youtube reviewers end up fucking questioning their genre identity, even ones I would have thought were relatively sane like some Nerdy Glasses looking fucker, kinda reminded me of Linkara... did Doctor Who and shit and some Buffy, then one day he was like "some days I feel more woman, so let me put on my rainbow ring to discuss something." though I think he had a GF and looked like a soy dude. Couple years later after not watching them, he has a sideshave with long hair, painted nails and spends every episode covered in trans shit and sounds like a fucking freak. Like even if I wanted to watch a video, not when they sound like that, it's fucking distracting.

Can't even remember his name anymore. Just see him pop up in the feeds from time to time.

Ah right, now I remember: Council of Geeks.

That has not stopped people before. I've seen people in academia and school use trans as a shield against valid criticism about work ethic, work quality, code of ethics, regulation ... I'm saying they are usually lazy, entitled, attention whores but that's the truth of it.

sad part is literally everything you said mad it sound like another dr who youtuber i knew of, funny thing they actually transitioned like a couple years before jim but referenced him just before they did

P.S. Does anyone know how I can get my post to display as raw html in edit mode? I want to save a template to notepad.

He hasn't gained subs for 2 years; last positive month on YouTube was December 2020.

At best I can see him break even and hit a big fat goose egg for December, but he's covered so little content this year he'll struggle to fill out his top and bottom 10, if he does them at all, and that's what drives his more positive metrics for that month.

As pointed out he hasn't been in the green for a while and as time goes on he will only finder it harder and harder to stop the hemorrhaging as his repetative content drives people away and his lack of visibility stops any possible future growth.

For the first time in a long time he's doing physical exercise on a regular basis, I'd be more worried if he didn't lose some but he'll just lose some then plateau.

It makes sense if you look at it through the lens of someone who is permanently on Twitter, particularly if they are a huge consoomer like Jim where his hobbies = his identity.

For them gender is all in the mind so why would you ever want to identify as a white and cis male? That's a pretty problematic group that's easily thrown under the bus and ignored in woke circles while on the other hand trooning out gets online clout and opportunities they wouldn't otherwise get and as well as that there's the added benefit of it basically being forbidden to criticize anything in their pre-troon days.

Of course it all falls apart when they stop hiding behind cutey avatars and you see what they actually look like.

I went over it in the notes, but it's basically a quirk of how Jim's Patreon is tanking. He takes a huge hit then it climbs back up about halfway then the process repeats. Last month's review happened right after one of these dips so it was extra low whereas this month's review it's in the level out stage that precedes the next big dip:

Rest assured, though, he is still losing money hand over fist; he's lost almost $30k annual income in the last 12 months.
