Oh I agree with you totally, but that fact won't stop her from feeling entitled to money and wronged by her rightful termination. Some "activist" attorney will take her case for a fee and lose or try to settle out of court. So there will be a dawn out and ultimately pointless drama with tons of sperging.
I also believe Rapp subscribes to the "any attention is good attention" school of thought. Her being laughed out of court will be an excuse to beg for more pity bucks.

Not directly. Here's the short version so you don't need to dig through only one page of me sperging as opposed to about thirty pages of GG sperging.
Nich Maragos is a former translator for Atlus.
He works for Treehouse now and is widely considered a mainstay in Nintendo of America's localization pit.
FE: Fates recently came out, and though the game itself is good, the states got a vastly inferior product. This is no mere case of censored boobage - the game being essentially feature-crippled, with countless changes, entire character arcs and motivations removed or changed for no reason, giant stretches of plot excised (bear in mind, it's a Fire Emblem game, so the damned thing being a story of kingdom-shattering betrayals is practically a mandate), and so on.
It's also loaded with spelling errors, grammar mistakes, and minor shit that was changed just for the sake of changing it. To give a general synopsis, around sixty percent of the game's dialogue was removed for the localized version. The US VAs are absolutely atrocious because Treehouse gave them no indication of how the characters were intended to be personality-wise. Memes from about five years ago were added. The translation is bad enough that people are questioning whether or not the game was intended to be a joke translation - to the point where people have compared it to what 4kids did to One Piece - and the weebs have been working on a delocalization patch since apparently all the slashed content is still there, just inaccessible, and with a properly-developed retranslation patch, they'll be playing it the way Weeb Jesus intended.
During the kerfluffle over just what a clusterfuck this was, it came to light that multiple members of Treehouse essentially admitted to making dialogue up, changing shit because they felt like it, et al. Bad enough, but this inevitably led to the discovery that Nich Maragos had Patreon-backed the assholes who originally led the outrage machine against Fates when it was in development - claiming that it had "gay conversion therapy" and similar outright lies. In essence, someone in said localization pit was paying the patreon of someone who had called for said localization pit to censor the game in the first place. Nich wasn't the only localizer who had been caught doing this, either, and in an effort to get more information about it, people started digging into it, the same way GG's internet autism machine always does.
This led, inevitably, to Alison Rapp.
Rapp is another Treehouse staffer, but the weebs of TorrentialDownpour have basically ignored her for months - like Wu, she's a sensationalizing nutter and nobody wanted to feed her. So finally, she's relevant to discussion, and GGers look into Rapp to see if she also financially supported the same loons Maragos did, and this led to the discovery of her earlier "Child Porn Ownership is OK" content.
After a brief case of GGers in general going "another Anti gets caught defending pedophiles, color us fucking surprised," it was then non-GG parties (you know who they are) who immediately latched onto it, since this kind of meant that a main PR agent for Nintendo of America was on-record as defending Child Porn ownership.
Those interested in seeing a chimpout then pushed the issue, and @Spectator delivered the final push with triumphant style, leading us to the glorious atsimu we've seen from this.

Maybe but lawyers who file completely pointless, doomed suits don't usually last long. Most lawyers who do employment law do it on contingency and take cases where they can win or get a good settlement.
Companies like NoA often take a bridge-burning go-fuck-yourself attitude to nuisance suits because settling one sends the message you're an easy target for a shakedown and attracts more of them, like feeding feral cats.
Sure, it'd be fun to watch, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for legal drama out of this.

Full trail, though enjoyable, probably as Power Ball odds of paying off. (Though I'd like to think we have a chance of a few angry tweets about no lawyer wanting to aid her in her just battle.) I just can't wrap my head around how Rapp would keep bring up her pro kiddy-porn thesis while being a PR representative of a faint FAMILY FRIENDLY company.

** Male children of the protagonist wind up friend-zone or flat-out rejected in 90% of his S-rank supports. I.E. the characters he is canonically supposed to be able to marry and indeed, can in the Japanese version. His best benefits are then tied to someone who he has no romantic attachment to, and he can never re-assign it to anyone else.
** One major support conversation between two assassins and the litany of misdeeds they've done has been completely replaced by them "......."-ing at one another for several pages.
** Any unfortunate implications towards Incest (not a new concept in FE; it takes place in the middle ages, for fuck's sake) are stripped out entirely, even though for several characters this is a defining characterization moment.
** Several support convos just flat-out removed or made inaccessible, for no reason.
** A "Gentle Giant" style female character is essentially Sully 2.0 in the localization.
** The revelation that Rhajat is, in fact, Tharja from Awakening, is gone because the Lesbian support that allowed it is removed.
** Countless personality bluntings, added memes, etc.

* Multiple changes to the gameplay and stuff you can do in the game.
** The entire Pokemon Amie-esque minigame that allowed you to pet your teammates and wife/husband is removed.

A central California man has been arrested for possession of child pornography, thanks to a tip from burglars who robbed the man's property, authorities said.
Last month, a juvenile and a 19-year-old illegally accessed the property of Kraig Stockard, 54, of Delhi, California, according to a statement from Deputy Tom MacKenzie of the Merced County Sheriff's Department. They broke into Stockard's barn and stole about 50 CDs they believed were blank.
Stockard filed a police report on the incident on September 12, according to MacKenzie.
But the young people who stole the CDs were in for a surprise. When they began putting the discs into their computer, they discovered that some of them contained pornographic images of children, the statement said.
Despite having obtained the CDs under decidedly shady circumstances, the pair decided to report Stockard to the police.
A search warrant was served and three more computers and three laptops were taken from Stockard's home, along with several external hard drives. Police said there were thousands of pictures and movies on the CDs -- more than 30 of the 50 discs had child pornography on them.
Investigators said Stockard has been downloading indecent images of children since 2004. He has admitted possessing the pornography on the CDs but has refused to say whether there is pornography on the computers, they said. Stockard was booked for possession of child pornography and posted $25,000 bail.
The two burglar suspects who reported Stockard have not been arrested.
Their case has been sent to the Merced County District Attorney's Office for review. When reached for comment, a press officer told CNN the office could not comment on the case because one of the informants in question is a juvenile.

I think you used the wrong link for the male child of the protagonist - it seems to link to the same thing as the Rhajat thing.
In any case, I really have to wonder why this wasn't caught beforehand. Did nobody at NoA run a background check on the PR person they were hiring?
