The Kansas health insurance marketplace is administered by the federal government. The plans are just as crappy as you would expect.

Do you know if common law marriages have the same liability in divorce as regular ones? Because if they do I don’t see the benefit to Carblissa and J staying unmarried. That's a simple question with a long answer: First, Juliana is not SOL - even if she can't add Corissa to her plan, she can still get coverage for herself through the SEHP and would not be obligated to find alternate coverage for Corissa if she did. Second, Kansas legally recognizes common law marriages; combined with Juliana's statement that she only took the job with KU for the benefits I could see her telling HR she's married but can't produce a license because it's common law. HR certainly wouldn't dig through all Corissa's old videos to verify the common-law claim so they wouldn't see the posts where she says she never plans to marry Julianna. Third, it would be the Obamacare exchanges and not Medicare or Medicaid - Obamacare is still available to people in states that did not create their own exchanges, it's just run directly by the federal HHS department instead of the state. I couldn't find details on the Kansas exchange or coverage but if DSP's Obamacare plan was any guide it will be an awful plan compared to employer provided coverage - he pays over $300/month, has a deductible of over $6,000, and still can't reliably find doctors who will take it. These are plans people don't get unless they absolutely have to.
Corissa has no liability because has said repeatedly that she never intends to marry Juliana. As far as Kansas law is concerned those statements are enough to say they were never in a common-law marriage, even if they otherwise acted exactly like a married couple. That's the real benefit to keeping it common law: Right now it lets Corissa claim the benefits of being married, but the second she decides to dump Juliana she can do it without going to court (more to the point, without giving Juliana the chance to sue for alimony).Do you know if common law marriages have the same liability in divorce as regular ones? It happens in blue states. I know someone it happened to while living in a state without common law marriage.I'm not in Kansas, but I've never heard of an employer's HR demanding to see/copy a marriage license for benefit papers
Late as fuck but I'm extra annoyed by this weird book because this seems like an exceptionally easy thing to explain to a young child if the need arises for whatever reason.J posted on IG a link to a book on abortion for 8 to 10 year olds.
The person who wrote it has some interesting ideas on how early children should know to get an abortion...with info on drugs avaiable, etc. She wants children to join her crew and get emails from her.

I can't even fathom how a labia would go numb or "fall asleep." This definitely has to be some crazy deathfat shit because I've never heard of anything like that before. I can't imagine a way that overly tight underwear would make that happen either. That has to be like... a pinched nerve or blood vessel in the hip area right? Or diabetic nerve damage. As a woman whose labia have never gone numb, and thus is absolutely baffled by how that can even happen, I guessed the same potential causes.
That she posted about it so casually, like it's NBD, one of those normal Fatgirl Things she can joke about, makes it even more bizarre. That's not normal, it's not healthy, and that it's happening at all is a sign that shit ain't right. But then again, she's brushed aside, minimized, or normalized so many undesirable effects of her obesity, what's one more?
I'm not in Kansas, but I've never heard of an employer's HR demanding to see/copy a marriage license for benefit papers. The papers are filled out and submitted. If they are married, the insurer will find out. If they aren't legally married, the insurer will find out.
And, for another thing, NO HR dept. I've seen has you show a marriage license for the IRS forms they submit. I see this often through clients requesting assistance with paperwork on-site on their day 1 employment. Plus other papers are submitted to DRS/DHS along with it. No marriage license required. If they're legally married, any entity that needs to know will know.
I'm sure "common law" states have slightly different requirements/rules. But I bet that even then, it is very similar. Either they're recognized as together legally, or not.
Maybe this is a cousin of bicycle seat neuropathy. Plain ol' sitting for these folks is the equivalent of competitive bike riding in an active human, and I couldn't begin to comprehend their body mechanics.I can't even fathom how a labia would go numb or "fall asleep." I've never really thought about it like that but your absolutely right at least if you cycle you can easily go okay this clearly isn't positioned correctly hope off and fix shit.@Aunt Carol beat me to the punch. As a regular cyclist, can admit that if you don't have your saddle positioned correctly, shit downstairs can go numb for both dudes and chicks.
So just sitting as a deathfat is akin to sitting incorrectly on a poorly positioned race saddle for hours on end (because it typically takes 3-4 hours of sitting on a saddle that's incorrectly positioned - don't ask how I'm familiar with this)? That is a terrible way to live.
Well. I've seen a bunch of Coco's clothing (including lingerie) digging into her. Quite deeply, at that. So I suppose "circulation cut off from way too tight underwear and pants" is a very good answer.
Ugh, but don't they make size xxxxxxxxxxL now? I guess going a size up every time a deathfats gains weight would be too much effort though, keeping the skin splitting ones is copeWell. I managed to get through the entire rant and it just showcases how little empathy Corrissa has for others.Corissa went on a long rant today about a nurse. She also had a slip of the tongue that she was "unable to eat as much as she wants" not that shes not able to eat just that she can't gorge herself it sounds.

I managed to get through the entire rant and it just showcases how little empathy Corrissa has for others.
TL;DW: Corrissa has lost some weight due to illness. A nurse congratulated her. She pushed back against the nurse and the nurse kept trying to make her feel good about herself. Corrissa said "I'm ill" and began to cry in front of the nurse. The nurse, assuming Corrissa was dealing with PCOS, communicated she also had it and could understand the struggle. She had never made a patient cry before and began to cry too.
Corrissa berated the woman in the story for "forcing [Corrissa] to comfort her" and turning the tables back on her. She apologized but was so mad about it she told the doc who said the nurse wasn't a constant nurse, and wouldn't be seen again. Corrissa says that because she is temporary, Cor will magnanimously decide not to get her in trouble, how kind. She also refuses to comfort those who have "fatshamed" her by... congratulating her on weight lost.
What an absolute cunt. You're in the doctors office because of some obesity related illness, I'm sure, and a random nurse notices you've lost weight, probably in response to the illness, meaning you're taking charge of your health. But no, Corissa needs to correct this poor nurse because HEAVEN FORBID anyone would mistake her for responsible and sensible. What a turd.I managed to get through the entire rant and it just showcases how little empathy Corrissa has for others.

That's giving a lot of thought to what is probably just a prolapse situation...at her weight prolapse is inevitable...and a gynaecologist will require a BMI reduction before any surgical attempts to repair. Of course she'll never admit to that because prolapse is a weight issue (either through pregnancy weight pressure or just being grossly overweight).I think the numb labia is a combination of Corissa going commando and then squeezing her enormous gunt and fupa into a pair of way too-small, non-stretchy denim overalls. The rise of the denim that's being stetched to its goddamned limit is likely... lifting and separating... her labia which results in the crotch seam giving her the biggest camel toe known to science. Plus, her "belly" probably weighs 200 pounds by itself and there it is, all sprawled out and hanging down, pressing on the camel toe while she sits on a hard chair and poses for Instagram like the glamourous influencer she is.
Plus, let's be real... if J was your partner, wouldn't your labia go numb, too?
I can't imagine being so fat that shit is litterly falling outside of where it's supposed to be and not going hmmm maybe it's time for a change given the frequency of when she actually goes to Dr lots more shit will go wrong before she even acknowledges it.That's giving a lot of thought to what is probably just a prolapse situation...at her weight prolapse is inevitable...and a gynaecologist will require a BMI reduction before any surgical attempts to repair. My god, that is just a mini cyclone of DARVOing. "You thought you were being nice but you offended me, then you were stupid enough to try commiserating with me, then you got upset when I confronted you about it, I had to comfort you, and that upset ME ME ME ME ME..."I managed to get through the entire rant and it just showcases how little empathy Corrissa has for others.
