These people are incredibly stupid and incredibly smug. The whole conference is them gloating about using their unearned and undeserved power to oppress people they disagree with while pretending to be above it all. Just listening to them pisses me off.

The leftmost woman is the moderator and has never left academia, the short haired woman is an Australian lawyer, the annoying woman in the middle is Twitter's ex-VP of censorship, the fat guy next to her is a journalist, and the last guy sold a crappy startup that analyzes what people share on social media to Facebook.

We have an unholy alliance between (1) a hall monitor who works for an organization that was created by a man in an explicit act of TDS-induced censorial rage, (2) a shill representing activist journalists who want to ban non-approved speakers so their own speech can reign supreme, and (3) a doctrinaire techno-libertarian who goes along with it all because "it's a private company":

  • Elena Cryst ("moderator and has never left academia")
    • Works at the Stanford Internet Observatory, which was founded (A) by former Facebook CSO and censorship advocate Alex Stamos.
      • Alex Stamos left Facebook (A) because he wanted the company to take a more aggressive stance against disinformation on the platform, clashing with Sheryl Sandberg over "how proactive the social network should be in policing its own platform". He also pushed Zuck to do a more thorough investigation into Russian disinformation during the 2016 election. But Zuck "publicly dismissed the notion that fake news influenced the 2016 election, calling it a 'pretty crazy idea.'"

  • Evelyn Douek ("short haired woman is an Australian lawyer")
    • Professor at Stanford Law School and Senior Research Fellow at the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia.
    • The Knight Institute
      • Originally founded by a $30M grant from the Knight Foundation
      • Famously sued Donald Trump for blocking people on Twitter, arguing that it violated the users' 1st Amendment rights.
      • Is funded by organizations like Google (A) and The Koch Foundation (A)
    • The Knight Foundation
      • In a great example of Conquest's Law, the foundation was originally "seeded by the estate of economically conservative newspaper publisher John S. “Jack” Knight", but it is now a "left-leaning private foundation that sets a primary emphasis on funding media-related projects" according to Influence Watch (A).

  • Mike Masnick ("fat guy next to her is a journalist")
    • Founder of TechDirt, an arm of the Copia Institute.
    • Mike posts for Young Voices, an official Koch Brothers organization (A)
    • TechDirt is directly funded by the Koch Brothers (A)
    • The Copia Institute's website describes itself (A) as a "think tank from Mike Masnick and the team behind Techdirt"
      • It also lists several major donors, including Google, a16z, and the MacArthur Foundation.

Just throw in the former head censor for Twitter and a current one for Facebook... now you got yourself a panel!

I was looking through the various replies to robtyree1 (the fiberhub hosting guy) and it really made me think. What's shocking to me is that while the twitter users responding to him hate this place, they only show it halfheartedly. (yes, there's still a few twitter replies gradually crawling in, mostly from the few people left posting about the campaign)

Most of these people (like the user named dropkiwifarms ) aren't even that good at attacking the farms. It's limp wristed flailing. You'd think they'd be more imaginative.
There used to be twitter users who showed far more spirit, Like achungus1235 (who changed their twitter user name to "kiwifarmsls"). for example, he was (relatively) more creative. The thing is some of these users probably moved on since most of the attention they got was only when keffals was still boosting the campaign.

anyways, even thugh they aren't exactly cutting remarks, rob tyree is still responding to most of these people. i wonder if its just cause he's in charge their at fiberhub and has some kind of obligation to defend the place.

Optimism.

Combating depression with jokes.

it's more like Episode 1:

except the invasion never happened due to closed/invite-only registration.

Lol, the DDoS has ramped up a bit ever since Destiny's stream and manifesto about keffals dropped. Keffals clearly threw in some extra money in a fit of autistic rage.
I definitely noticed a LOT more "503 Service Unavailable" messasges than a few hours ago.
I think i even got the message a few times when trying to post this.

Dropkiwifarms is currently blogging on twitter about how theyre fighting against kiwifarms because their depressed and its the only thing that makes them feel better.

Also, on second thought, maybe creative wasn't the best word for achungus1235/kiwifarmsls. It seems He mostly spent a long time talking about users posting minecraft numbers. Nevermind how sites like doxbin probably do that a lot more. Anyways, if achungus were still active, he'd probably be spamming rob tyrees tweets about how sharing minecraft codes is illegal.

So robtyree1 is specifically the ceo of the fiberhub company.
I'd imagine they'd have some kind of pr person to respond to this stuff, but maybe the company isn't big enough.
Oooor maybe its because they are commenting directly on his twitter account thats he the one responding.
Or maybe they aren't about to put out some statement in the company blog on a weekend.

I thought it was just my cell reception being trash. I tried to draft a post like five times before I gave up. lol.

I am of the belief that if John Dimitradius, the person behind the DropKiwiFarms account, hadn't gotten permabanned for naming and shaming in Fallout 76, he wouldn't be on a crusade against the farms right now. There being a thread of him on here isn't new news to him. But because he can't pepe screech in Fallout 76 and make hour long videos about his Fallout 76 enemies anymore, he found a new thing to complain about and campaign against. Because e-clout and attention is all he wants.

He never involved himself in trans activism until he figured out a way to make sure he personally benefitted from it.

Dropkiwifarms is currently blogging on twitter about how theyre fighting against kiwifarms because their depressed and its the only thing that makes them feel better.

Imagine being a Twitter activist in your 50s because you have no real accomplishments and nothing better to do with your time.

the DDoS has ramped up a bit ever since Destiny's stream and manifesto about keffals dropped. Keffals clearly threw in some extra money in a fit of autistic rage.
I'd ask where this seemingly limitless flow of cash is coming from but...one can guess. (E-grifting. Lots of e-grifting.) Imagine having all of that money and, instead of doing something productive with it or bettering some aspect of society, you decide to use it to take down a site whose purpose is not unique. I doubt KiwiFarms is the only internet forum with threads like these. So why does just KiwiFarms need to be taken down?

Most of these people (like the user named dropkiwifarms ) aren't even that good at attacking the farms. It's limp wristed flailing. You'd think they'd be more imaginative.

Bold of you to assume that Twitter activism is anything more than monkeys flinging poop at a wall.

Why do they all have the same line? "Kill me if you want me to stop." Like these idiots either suicide bait or swat bait.View attachment 3708176

Because leftists are obsessed with victimhood, and nothing gives you more victim credit than being murdered by NAHTZEES for your beliefs. They want to be remembered in the pantheon of saints next to Harvey Milk, Matthew Shephard, and George Floyd.

The DKF guy is so pathetic I honestly feel bad for him. That life seems utterly awful. Even worse, instead of trying to do even the tiniest bit of the hard work it takes to fix a shitty existence, he leans into it. Tweeting hundreds of times a day about this website and obsessing over that stupid fucking telegram. Ahahah what the fuck, imagine spending all day hate jerking to that pointless telegram channel and endlessly posting the more autistic and fedposty highlights from it for dumb dopamine fried teenagers to read and give you a few pity twitter updoots.

They can't comprehend that people are laughing at them, they assume someone can only love or hate someone, since they don't recognize mockery as loving behavior they assume we must hate them and since they want people they hate to die they think we want to kill them.

They think that because they think what they're doing is serious or important or otherwise not funny that nobody can find it funny.
