I was aware of this, what I meant was that even accounting for that, he has changed how he speaks. For example, his pronunciation of the letter s is a lot closer to normal now than the spergy lispy sound he had before, and the pronunciation of s doesn't have much to do with the vocal chords. We've seen in the troon surgery thread and elsewhere (e.g. Exulansic's archives of troons complaining about their surgeries) that, on its own, the vocal chord surgery doesn't do all that much (just like "facial feminization"), so in my opinion he had some kind of speech therapy to "recover" from the vocal surgery (which probably swamped the effect of the actual surgery itself).
He's also been recording and listening to himself for a couple of years by now, which also leads people to change how they speak.
