It’s not some moral crusade like he wants to pretend. He doesn’t want there to be a place where people can talk about his deeds negatively. He’s far less concerned about how people talk about trannydom as a whole.

At this point I'm pretty sure at this point a reasonable if schizo answer to the bold is "it was part of the plan, and he played his part perfectly".

To be clear, I don't think Keffals swatted himself in any way that's provable without getting a hacked dump of Signal, and it still might not be provable even then because it's clear whoever is or was actually pulling Lucas' strings has brain enough to not leave traces that can be used unless someone rats big time. It'd be someone in the signal group or some being directed by someone in the signal group, and almost certainly without directly telling Keffals specifics.

That sounds nuts, you might say...except for the fact that there's a swatting rampage for months prior with a very specific method to it, robovoice/texts to cops claiming to be the target and claiming to be committing or having committed violent crimes at the target's address, then magically the method changes just for Keffals, a method that can be reasonably suggested is designed to minimize chance of harm to the target (threats sent in target's name to unrelated but important third parties, which will definitely cause the cops to come, but not through the windows on ziplines due to lack of immediacy), and then the method from before continues when MTG got swatted, almost as if the original swatter(s) decided to try to fuck everyone involved.

The cherry on top being the fact that some random Canadian kid uninvolved with any of the parties gets swatted the exact same way as Keffals, about a week later if memory serves, almost as if Keffals' swatters read the comments and decided that it was a bit too convenient that N = 1, and that 1 is Keffals, who just made 70k USD grifting that specific swatting.

Schizo theory? Perhaps, but that random kid getting swatted the same way, later, seemingly just so that swat method N = 2, has me convinced. It's too neat, that extra swat just seems like OCD tying up perceived loose ends.

Jeremy Hambly (Quartering) claimed that one of his SWATings involved forged threats to others like the Keffals incident, so the apparent change in methodology was already in play and probably has more to do with the SWATers fine tuning their methods over time to try and generate the most aggressive law enforcement response they can. I don't think Keffals did this to himself, but he was desperately trying to build his brand as an activist and this played right into his hands. Keffals clearly used Zoe Quinn and Brianna Wu's gamergate victim schtick as a blueprint right down to fleeing for their life taking a European vacation, and pocketing donations for a faux "anti-harassment" movement dedicated to doxing, harassing and perpetrating various cyber crimes on their critics.
