So far in this conflict the funniest thing was the "Cope Cage" where Russians would commandeer monkey bar sets from local playgrounds and strap it on their armor thinking that it would stop St. Javelin and Bishop N-LAW. The second funniest thing was when the Russians got routed now for the 3rd time, First north of Kyiv then in the Kharkov region now in the regions south of Kharkov But don't worry guys it was a tactical maneuver meant to distract Ukrainian forces. It is fucking amazing.

To be fair, there is one thing that "cope cages" could have helped with - drone dropped grenades. But the cages seemed to have been removed by the time this started to become a threat, so we got to witness some sick drops down the open hatches.
However it seems each military district built the cages to different spacing between the metal beams, some of them were obnoxiously tall and negated the advantage of smaller turrets, others were so short they had to make emergency egress unecessarily difficult.

Russia bans cargo transit from ‘unfriendly countries’​

Russia has banned cargo transportation by road for companies from countries that placed similar restrictions on Russia. The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and published on the country’s official internet portal for legal information on Saturday.

According to the document, companies from EU countries, Norway, Ukraine, and the UK will no longer be able to transport goods through Russia by road. The document states that the ban is in response to restrictions imposed by these countries for Russian truckers as part of the sanctions on Moscow earlier this year.

The decree comes into force on October 10 and will be valid until December 31, 2022. The document states that the ban applies to both bilateral and transit goods transportation, as well as cargo transportation to or from the territory of a third state.

“Goods delivery by road from ‘unfriendly countries’ to final recipients on the territory of Russia will still be carried out. For this purpose, goods from foreign trucks will be reloaded (or a semi-trailer will be hooked up) to Russian and Belarusian vehicles at the customs terminal complexes in the border areas in Pskov, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, and Murmansk regions, the Republic of Karelia and St. Petersburg,” the press service of Russia’s Ministry of Transport told RBK news outlet.

I can't get over how funny this Rybar map is. The fact that they put two whole Russian red meme arrows moving in the same direction as the Ukrainian blue arrow is unfathomably hilarious. I guess they had no way to really show Russian forces being routed so they just make it look like they are attacking their own position with the Ukrainians

One thing Mike Penisvich brings up that I've heard from other retards is "Ukraine didn't capture these territories, they were already abandoned". So I just have to ask. What exactly is the RAFs play if they are just abandoning these areas? 5D chess? Gonna run back to the Donbas screaming "HOME BASE NEENER NEENER YOU CAN'T SHOOT ME!" like it's fuckin' paintball? If the idea is that thr Ukrainans won't shell the LPR and DNR because it's "Russian territory" then Belgorod and Crimea would probably like a word.

One thing I'll say about the Russians, it really doesnt feel like their troop movements are in concert with their leadership goals. At a certain point they probably should have quit the Krkv Oblast entirely and focused on reforming a new defensive line around their newly proclaimed territories.

I don't know if it's willful ignorance (or if I just missed it), but so far I haven't heard any of the large or small commentators suggest that the nation Russia is currently at war with, might be at all capable of hitting those pipelines. Which is funny, considering the links to several other friendly nations with capable subs & the know-how (i.e. Israel, Germany, Italy, etc, etc). Hell, that country on it's own could've even done it from the surface in a fishing boat, given their massively growing experience & fondness for drones.

But in any case, it's far easier for them to seethe & threaten the Anglo-Saxons, than admit Ukraine kicked their shit in. Again. Still.

TBF Rybar is actually one of the pro-Russian sources I actually look at for infomation since the actual lines of the battlefield are actually somewhat realistic. They're definitely better than people like the guy I posted who said Ukraine was defeated at Lyman the literal day before the retreat happened and then locked his account out of embarassment.
