Correct me if im wrong, but all this started because keffals called out the kiwifarms, claiming that they had "nothing to hide and nothing to fear" right?

Yes, but I think it first started after he got Destiny banned from Twitch and then bragged about "taking away his source of income" -- so his fans were the first group Lucas pissed off...KF came into it after this thread was spawned from the autism caused by THAT shitshow.

"Journalist" Ben Collins appears to claim that taking Kiwifarms offline protects free speech and that Kiwifarms is an army actively trying to kill people. He takes partial credit for his article helping to convince Cloudflare to stifle speech.
There is nothing better than being forced to pay taxes in order to hire the NPCs at NPR.

When the site went down, there were a lot of articles all at once (Washington Post, New York Times, Ars Technica of all places) that had hit pieces. The one on Ars Technica was hilarious. There is a quote from Josh telling everyone "assume your email, etc has been leaked." Of course, Josh went on to say that most users practice safe sex when posting (this was not included in the article), so nothing of real consequence. All the top comments on the article are hilarious though.

I'm not gonna lie, the newfangled DDOS protection is pretty inconsistent but when it works? Holy shit, it fucking works. Like I thought I was gonna have to look forward to a life of no longer being able to laugh at fat women or severely delusional ugly men in horrifying outfits.
But now? This site works almost as well as it did pre-DDOS/2022 hack. God bless Pappy Nool and Crunklord420 for restoring our ability to laugh at autistic retards on the internet under the shitty circumstances they have to operate under.
I'm still not entirely optimistic for the future of the internet/technology in general, but if there's one thing the Farms taught me, its that autism will always find a way to triumph, no matter how faint the praise may be.
