while true, i'll defend pay pigging over the old ad selling method because you usually will be closer to your chosen content creator though doing it, especially smaller ones with <1k subs will practically seem like a real friend with how close you can be to them. although a lot of that does depend on how much a creator cares but usually its harder to not end up being friendly when you have so few people to talk to, when you're having a movie night with less than a dozen other people, being one of the few that chats will mean a lot, same with being one of the handful to chat when they stream, if only 200 people watch live being one of the few that chats means you'll be a fuck load more likely to be responded to.
