Even "casuals" back in the day knew you needed your own gameboy game to have the better full experience. Your team got their ass handed by your friend/opponent? Make a better one! Not like it was hard to do either since MISSINGNO. in Gen 1 gives you whatever the fuck you want. You could make a new lv100 team with whatever moves you wanted in like 5 minutes.

Not only that, the gameboy tower will just be a static thing in the background with no use(unless they include the gameboy roms but that's )
Also clearing sections of the game awards pokemon you can use in the game, now those will be just sitting there.

They could integrate Pokemon Home into Stadium, but I guess that would be too much work. The best we can hope for is the Game Boy games being added to Switch Online with Stadium integration.

It’s not that hard to beat Round 1 Gym Leader Castle in the original Stadium with only rentals. Every other mode and Stadium 2, on the other hand…

I'm pretty easy to please, I just want some old Pokemon to quickly and easily pick for us to battle with offline. I don't know anybody who would be willing to play through the games and battle competitively anymore anyway. If I want that I'll have to play Pokemon Showdown.

I'd much rather them add Game Boy games to NSO or something so we can have the full experience, but I'm satisfied with it as is.

I watched the direct and it was honestly pretty good. I saw Harvestella Demo was on Switch so I downloaded it and couldnt wait to play it. Instant regret.

I would love to have a Kid Icarus Uprising game to come out for the Nintendo Switch, since the 3DS version is still currently expensive to get on Ebay. Though, Tears of the Kingdom for Zelda looks pretty good. If this is just the base drop for working on Breath of The Wild 2, then I see no issue for this.

I was hoping Nintendo would make a Switch port of Kid Icarus: Uprising, since it seems like it would be a good fit for the Switch.

A new rumor making the rounds online suggests that Nintendo may be making a new 2D Super Mario game with a surprise character return.

According to Zippo, this new 2D Super Mario project will not have the "New Super Mario" tagline, abandoning the style of that sub-series to embrace a surprising new art style. The game will reportedly feature online multiplayer and the return of obscure character Foreman Spike, who appeared as Mario's rival in Wrecking Crew.

Might not be too far off on that assumption. Foreman Spike IS rumoured to be in the movie as Mario and Luigi's boss.
