I think Elon needs to take his fuckin' meds. Still glad we're getting the twitter tranny salt tsunami from this though. Combined with the elections it's gonna be a fun last couple months of the year.

Yeah. Let's not forget that the spooks who run all these bots and manipulate all our online shit have always represented corporate interests even where they do it under the umbrella of fed authority, and where there's corporate interest there's counterinterests. Fucking with them ain't necessarily for the lulz, there could be real reasons his backers/financiers want to string this out.
Or not, but there's obviously some reason so whining about it like a massive acquisition transaction should be the same thing as ordering uber eats just betrays a lack of imagination.

I’ve never used Twatter since its inception and never will. All of the fervent hoping that Musk will turn it into a platform for conservative thought to thrive is meaningless to me. Nay, I would much rather see it fucking die, and it’d be hilarious if it were to happen under Musk’s ownership (making it appear as though he trollishly spent $44B just to gradually turn the volume knob down to OFF on those fuckers). The alleged-but-almost-certainly-true Chinese infiltration of the company only reinforces this feeling. Let it die- if anything, we’ll get to relish the tantrums from the leftists and troons over losing their cudgel to control speech and unduly influence politics.

They’ve been hemorrhaging hundreds of staff anyway. Fuck Parag, fuck Jack, fuck Vijaya (in her cunt with a Bad Dragon covered in sandpaper and mounted to a power drill), and fuck Twitter.
 
Elon you fucker, I just want two things:

One, allow all previously banned users back.
And two, the one to really ruin their lovely little echo chamber, remove the ability to block/mute other users.

The ability of these crybabies to create their own perfectly echoing hugbox on Twitter has been a disaster for humanity. If you want to spew your retarded takes onto the Internet, you can man up and deal with the responses. If you don't want to see them, you're going to have to develop the discipline to not click on every notification.

Elon Musk's reason for virtually everything public at this point is to increase the stock value in his cult of personality, I believe.

I've joked to people before that if someone asked me what business they should get into these days, I'd tell them cultism is where it's at. Direction and social belonging are the biggest needs going unmet in the markets of today.

The thing is that's not necessarily a joke, and I think guys like Musk may well be aware of that.
To me he's always just seemed like a dude you might meet at a college and think "Eh, he seemed fairly bright, I'm sure he'll do well for himself", but there are people out there who buy every single ounce of the hype. Imo his attempt to carve some kind of modern mythology is the most interesting thing about him.

Every ounce of his involvement with Twitter has been for that purpose. My guess is he's probably trying to drag out the drama so he can get maximum return on investment.

My prediction about Elon owning twitter:
- frogposters and "racists" will remain banned
- blompf and some MAGApede adjacent cuckservatard figures will return, maybe
- TERFs (I kid, I kid, I mean "gender critical women") will remain banned
- ToS will continue to enforce "hate speech" prohibitions
- trannies and degenerates in programmer socks like Liz Fong Ding Dong Chink Chong will continue to run the IT, HR and PR departments at twitter
- online rightoids will celebrate for like a week for a few crumbles and because leftoid deviant biomass will be fearfully seething about "twitter becoming another KiwiFarms, OMG they gonna genocide the troons reeeeeeee"
Twitter will never become even a quarter as fun, diverse, cozy and actually based as KF is.
