I'm gonna be honest, I agree with Jerry that the grooming accusations are mostly stupid bullshit made up to discredit him. This post, along with 90% of the other posts about Jerry grooming, basically amounts to "Yeah you didn't specifically target minors, but some 17-year-olds went out of their way to interact with your degeneracy so that's your fault now."

He finds himself dating barely-legals because that's his entire acceptable dating pool, not any sort of deliberate creepiness. After all, he's got less emotional maturity than the average 13-year-old, so if anything the 16-year-old viewers are grooming him. And that's what's so hilarious about this latest scramble to label everything 18+, Jerry is obsessed with disproving the one claim about him that is actually false. He's making himself look like a psycho who doxes kids in an attempt to own the trolls making false claims. Even apart from the aspect of minors being there, not everybody is tuning in to your stream to see your tits.

I'm actually going to give Lily some benefit of the doubt here. Back when I was growing up -- which would've been around Lily's formative years as well -- 18+ actually DID mean 'pornographic content'. Since then, however, ratings have changed significantly and become much more stringent... and much less useful. You shoot a movie rating from G to PG-13 just by showing a character smoking. 18+ nowadays is usually associated with R movies or M games, which earn that rating through heavy violence and excessive swearing, or just adult themes.

So her autistic mind might still be stuck in the old understanding that when you see 18+ ONLY, it was a legitimate warning that you'll probably see nipples.

That's not consistent with how things are considered today, though. Seeing her put 18+ in her stream makes me assume it would be similar to her content-- lots of unnecessary swearing and terrible, raunchy jokes. Not the constant chance that the streamer might flash me or engage in worryingly explicit sexual conversation. This isn't just about minors, either, but about consent overall; as an adult I don't want to hear strangers tell me about their sex lives or fantasies and I don't want to see their tits. Unless her stream rules explicitly say "18+ means ADULT CONTENT" then even I as an adult am not tacitly consenting to that kind of content.

Of course, having given Lily the benefit of the doubt here... I don't entirely believe it. She's an exhibitionist. She regularly gets horny on main and fills her Tumblr with revolting sexual content. I know Lily's claims about being on the autism spectrum are extremely inconsistent and don't hold up to much scrutiny, but if there was any evidence for it then this would be it. In particular, women with autism are known for being social chameleons, going with the flow and engaging in certain habits and behaviors, but only on a surface level just to fit in. This matches up with how Lily's perspectives on certain issues like politics and fandom are almost entirely dictated by the last "expert" she talked to. She talked to ILoveKimPossibleALot and suddenly misogyny in the brony community became a big deal to her. She found Stitch and all of a sudden fandom racism became a pet issue of hers.
EDIT: I understand the whole "socialized male" thing, but my theory/ speculation is going entirely off the whole "binary trans people having brains resembling that of the sex they identify as" thing.

While the female autism stuff is extremely true (and also extends to things like ADHD), I think we have to consider that Lily was born and raised as a male. I'm not saying this to claim "trans women aren't real women!" but the societal expectations between sexes varies in how we expect children to behave. The rowdy and rude young boy vs the polite and meek young girl. Her male autism is noticeable in her obsessiveness with things like how her "puppet" is drawn, her repetitiveness in writing themes, and her lack of social graces.

Consider the way she treats her streaming. She doesn't stop those verbal tics and awful noises. She doesn't try to be courteous to chat, or stifle any impolite comments she makes to her guests. It's easy to guess what she might be playing, and if it's not KH2 then it's an outlier.

I think there is some truth to your idea about her trying to social chameleon with those topics... But I think she might have adopted them because she wanted to date Stitch and ILoveKimPossibleALot.

I've heard this a million times and it's beginning to get on my nerves.
An ex-smoker telling somebody not to smoke isn't hypocrisy, they've learned from their past mistakes and are trying to keep somebody from going down the same path as them.
Not to mention the whole addiction aspect of smoking, or drinking for that matter, makes it a bad example of somebody being/ not being a hypocrite. So, yeah, a current smoker telling somebody not to smoke may not be hypocrisy either. It's possible that they want to stop but can't.
