when does Ukraine or Russia or whoever the fuck click the "Annex all" button?

Well the Russians hit it a few days ago while simultaneously loosing ground in every region they annexed, not having the capital city of one of them and the original Ukrainian 2014 defensive lines in Donetsk still being close enough that they could probably hit the international airport there with a 120mm mortar if they wanted to.

Its kind of a bugged mechanic.

2) Being an ally actually does have bearing on a situation when it comes to neutrality. If your ally is attacked and you're helping them, you're not neutral.

3) Citing some agreement about how we have pledged to help Ukraine means fuck all. We violated pledges, treaties, and words aplenty leading up to this conflict. Pretending like pieces of paper have any merit or meaning when it suites you and ignoring the times when it doesn't just makes you a dumb ass. If we were under no obligation to abide by our word to Russia we are equally under no obligation to abide by our word to Ukraine.

4) Sucks to suck. Ukraine's issues are not my, or any other American's problems. If Ukraine doesn't want Putin and Russia ass raping it in the future, maybe it shouldn't seek alliances with NATO and The UN and instead, do what it was always meant to do, be a buffer between Russia and the Hostile West.
1) It was formatted alright.
2) Again, Musk is talking about Ukrainian neutrality, not US/EU. So it means fuck-all. Musk never asked for US/EU neutrality.
3) Russia also violated the pledge to not invade Ukraine. You were the one who started the legalese "we're not allies" spiel so don't come around and say the paper is worthless when you signaled that you value signed pieces of paper. Oh, pieces of paper have no merit? Then we can support Ukraine as much as we want because we can treat them as allies without a formal agreement. Pick an argument and stick with it.
4) That's fair. But they traded away the nukes in exchange for protection. It's not America's problem? We give them the nukes. That way we wash our hands out of the deal.
Every time I see cucks like you on the internet, you always conveniently forget that this is what its really all about. Russia doesn't want Ukraine for shits and giggles. They want a a buffer between the Motherland and what they view as a united hostile neighbor. The sole purpose of their invasion is to keep that buffer zone between us and them.
That's just the Russian schizo theory. Buffers mean fuck all. If we step foot inside Russia the nukes fly. Ukraine cannot protect Russia from invasion. How does that "buffer theory" track with the fact that now Finland is NATO too? Plus, Belarus is just a speedbump. If there was a land invasion of Russia, even the Ukrainians wouldn't be able to reach Moscow before the Poles, I tell you that.
only after the EU, NATO, The UN, The United States, and Ukraine gave them justified reason to do so.

If you want to be Neutral. You do not play the game. End of story.
Uh, Russia seized Crimea in 2014 and then sent Girkin and his goons to the Donbas in 2014.
Russia gave Ukraine justified reason to want protection considering that they invaded. If Russia wanted Ukraine to be neutral, they should stop being assholes who invade every neighbor. End of story.

all intentional, russias killing its own men to increase its warscore so it can take even more land when this inevitably grows into ww3

Any evidence of waterborne ops other than that barge trick weeks ago? With that flank getting routed near Kherson; is the dniper pretty much an impenetrable barrier?

...Man, what has happened to this thread? It used to be one of the few places to get (somewhat) unbiased crumbs of actual news on the situation among the informational torrent and now it has devolved into nothing but belligerence and callous attempts to own the opponent no matter what. I feel that most people here don't even have a relation to the conflict, just picking a side and seeing the other side humiliated, hurt or killed gives you satisfaction and a desire to post a smug reaction image because your side got a win. Living through a war with horrible global ramifications and living in uncertainty over what happens tomorrow is already bleak, but seeing people flinging shit over it no matter what small part of the Internet you try to go makes it much worse. Was it the influence of the American two-party system that gave everyone the need to divide everybody into right and wrong without care or nuance? I mean, it probably started before that, and the Internet has only accelerated things, but when I think of the level of discussion and argumentation during the latest years, I can't help but feel a bit depressed.
Informational warfare can be as devastating as the physical one, and with technology becoming more advanced and people becoming more retarded, soon we may be nothing but herds of brainrotted nigger cattle going at each other's throats at the press of a button of our tech/government/corpo overlords. We just weren't ready for the technological evolution outspeeding our own, were we? And if WMDs aren't gonna fuck us, then the uncontrollable takeover of the flow information probably will.
...
I suppose, when there's nothing you can do about something you dislike, the best thing would be to avoid it, whether it's excessive alarmism or plain Internet retardation. But, God knows, it is becoming harder.

(Yes, I am aware that this was a needlessly long and overly emotional rant and no, I don't care. Holding in negative feelings is bad for the health.)
New thread (and new servers, too), so basically everything reset again. It's an unfortunate side effect, but it'll probably sort itself out once the novelty of being able to scream "vatnigger/ukrofag this, that, and the other" every other post again wears off.

Video related, it's basically the thread in condensed form

Its very easy to spin this story of "Russia Bad. Ukraine Good. NATO just" while completely ignoring. "Ukraine and NATO extremely corrupt".

Russia might have invaded, but only after the EU, NATO, The UN, The United States, and Ukraine gave them justified reason to do so.

This is america we do what we want in america if you think your slavic rules of grammar apply here then you are sorely mistaken just the other. day i was Listening to the band RUSH who are very libertarian and geddy lee in his, song Free Will says the following. lyrics: you can choose a ready guide through some celestial voice if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice you can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill I will choose a path that's clear i will choose free will; this is very good advice and the poster you are criticizing chose free will I think that if russia embraced the jungian or kantian ideas of free will then putin would not have needed to invade ukraine but anyway that digresses back to my original point which is that in america we do what we want which is to disregard the established rules of grammar The. Elements of Style was written in 1920 and william strunk is dead so why are we all relying on the ramblings of some dead faggot who doesn't even know what yeet means. So to summarize: 1) William strunk is dead and 2. ) geddy lee is the greatesst bassist of all time and that is probably why putin went to war in the first place because he was jealous of a canadian progressive rock band also did you know that rush became famous because of the radio station 100.7 THE BUZZARD WMMS (cleveland, ohio) in the late 70's started playing rush's stuff and after they played working man people called the station to ask when the newest zeppelin album was dropping but it wasn't zeppelin it was rush rest in peace Neil Peart the nigga died of brain cancer
