Also, I predict barely anything will change. Maybe a design or small feature change, but otherwise the website will be like tumblr and moderation will be asleep at the wheel yet again.

He's wrong but right in a way. Trannies provide endless content for people to laugh at and the site would be a bit more boring without them.

...That said the entertainment isn't worth the amount of children they groom or women they rape. I'd happily delete them all without second thought.

I am more hopeful than this, but not due to anything Musk may do directly.

The mere possibility that they won't utterly dominate discourse on a given platform is enough for them to absolutely lose their shit. I'm talking hair-pulling, REEEEE-screeching, full on impotent bawling in the middle of board meetings and shit.

The ones within the company are absolutely dumb enough to try to stealthmode through the weeding-out process only to immediately get caught trying to intentionally sabotage the company. I know this because it's already happened several times. One way or another, if Musk ever wants to even pretend he can make the platform profitable, he'll have to deal with the shithead activists, monodirectional censorship, and staff members that act as a fifth column. This is not optional and will, no matter what the outcome, benefit everyone else.

Everyone else wins when the Twitter activist core suffers.

Either way, I smell the wokeoids doing a walk out the first sign things aren't going their way. It may end up like the NeoGaf to ResetERa migration, but Twitter was such a foundational tool for them force their bullshit down everyone's throats I can't imagine that what comes next will be as powerful.

Even dialing back some of the algorithmic fuckery would be a huge difference. Remember when it originally looked like a done deal and a ton of previously banned accounts were simultaneously unbanned, and prominent conservative accounts suddenly gained thousands of followers overnight? Musk will probably need to create his own personal law firm to deal with the coming wave of unhinged media libel and regulatory abuse from the current administration. The current political and media establishment aren't going to take the potential loss of one of their favorite propaganda vectors lying down.

I hope he goes farther, but this seems to be the most likely scenario to me. I can't imagine a mainstream platform that lets people freely call trannies the correct gender and say nigger would actually be allowed to exist.

Okay I have a question, how the hell do you even use Twitter if you're not famous? Twitters format is weird as fuck and is completely dependant on follower count for any real discussion.
