US Waukesha massacre suspect Darrell Brooks pleads not guilty to all charges - It was the SUV

The Milwaukee man accused of killing six people and running over dozens with an SUV at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisc. pleaded not guilty to every charge laid against him.

According to the local Fox affiliate, Darrell Brooks, 39, pleaded not guilty to all 77 charges against him.

Brooks remains in jail on $5 million bail. GoFundMe confirmed to FOX Business in November that they removed the fundraiser for violating the crowdsourcing platform's Terms of Service. Additionally, the person who launched the fundraiser, reportedly a man named James Norton, will no longer be permitted to use the platform for any future fundraisers.

The courts have said that there is ample evidence against Brooks, as well as testimony from police detective Thomas Casey, who described how Brooks plowed into citizens even after some yelled at him to stop. Brooks allegedly "zigzagged" across the street "for blocks" at the family event.

Victims include an 8-year-old boy, along with members of the Dancing Grannies troupe, that was performing in the parade.

Public defender Anna Kees said that her defendant could not turn off the route, and that he did not intend to hit pedestrians. She also said that Brooks couldn't bring himself to look at photos of the crimes he allegedly committed.

It really is unfortunate that his victims were such nice people, 5 grandmas and a little boy. It almost makes this trial too sad to laugh at, almost. I sadly don’t think we’re going to get any “the evidence is going to show” in this trial. I feel like the prosecution won’t even be able to make it through their opening statement without being interrupted by Brooks.

I feel awful for the jury, they need to go through a month of the most horrific images and testimony and relive the pain of countless victims of this piece of shit. They’re giving up time with their family, ability to work, and taking on a huge weight because this piece of shit wants to play games and victimize a community. There is a constitutional right to represent yourself, which can typically only be contravened when the defendant is actually not physically/mentally capable of doing it.
