I've only just started watching this but is it normal for judges to break everything down Barney style like this to people who self represent? I always imagined that if you where retarded enough to waive your right to legal representation you would just get walked over in court. Is this just to make sure that this asshole cant appeal with an I'm a retard excuse?

Edit: Ok according to the shyster lawyer the judge has the power to just force him to take a lawyer. Why go through all this fucking hassle if the fucking van of peace man is clearly just trying to piss the court off and waste time? Take fucking charge judge!
They cover basic decorum and most get it but sovereign citizens are a bunch of assholes and don't care.

I

I'm not an Attorney, but spreading outright misinfo and then siccing the cult on another Attorney seems extremely unethical
Nick Never called for the murder of anyone and he certainly isn't disbarred.
He used his status as a "Harvard" lawyer to give people shitty legal advice that they took and that got them doxed. He knew it was a bad idea since he didn't do it himself, and it was based on patently bogus legal claims, i.e. that speech by an attorney so obviously protected by the First Amendment that the Bar basically immediately responded with a "go fuck yourself" letter was somehow actionable. He essentially gave defective legal advice guaranteed to harm the people who took it.

Still no dox, but new Locals post.

Trying to ruin someone else's life is all fun and games, but the idea that their dox might be exposed to the entire internet apparently has someone scared shitless.
These people are just absolutely pathetic. Complete and utter pussies.

Get fucked my dude. Zero sympathy.

Oh shit hes a sovcit? How the fuck did I miss that. This is gonna be a fucking painful stream series.
I'm probably giving him too much credit and overestimating his IQ, but it seems to me he's just trying to annoy the judge hard enough that she ends up making a major, appealable error.

He knows he's toast in an actual trial.

Wow and thanks....seems maybe his license should be looked at.

Are jury instructions covered pretrial? I swore in the other Rackets-covered trials jury instructions were wrangled after both sides rested.

Each side provides proposed jury instructions pre-trial at a jury instructions conference. They are then discussed at the end of trial to discuss any amendments that may be may, such as no substantial evidence of a claim or defense being on the record. Doing jury instructions last second would be actually disasterous as they are generally the most reversed issue in most state courts even with them being mostly done pre-trial

The fact that the judge didn't just revoke his pro se status when he started waffling on whether he intelligently waived his right to counsel irks me. Oh, despite me going on a 20 min colloquy about the issues that it presents and the fact that you still wanted to do it, you're now acting retarded like it's the first time you've heard about this? Fuck you, you get a lawyer to stop your stupid fucking games to disrupt the judicial process and make sure that even a semblence of an adequate trial takes place.

The DA looks like you'd find her under a bridge trying to eat children

Actually on second look, give her a pointy hat and a broomstick and she's a stereotypical witch.

It probably won't be. It's sometimes amusing to read the cases of people who actually do get disbarred because they nearly always involve years of absolutely horrific behavior, but unlike the complaints against Nick, it would at least not be patently frivolous.

That said, what happens during trial can really change what kind of jury instructions you want, like whether or not you want a lesser-included instruction (i.e. give the jury a chance to convict the defendant of a lesser offense that only includes part of the greater offense).

It's often a go for broke decision not to give the jury a choice as to whether to convict of a big crime (like murder) instead of a lesser crime.

It dawns upon me that every time people like that get caught doing stupid shit, they grovel like worms for forgiveness. Once that forgiveness is given, they go right back to being a shit-heel, doing the same things that brought them to that kind of situation in the first place. So, there's no point in doing that, since they have absolutely no remorse.

Let Allah's infinite light shine upon these cretins, I say.

Yeah, you're probably right, Alex the troon will continue to give out BS advice, getting others in possible trouble. (I notice neither he nor Lucas made a complaint....which you pointed out I think)

I've heard of Lawyers getting disbarred for a few reasons, but you're right, it usually takes a while for that to catch up with them
