Yeah basically the typhoon is a reason but it's one that clears up quick enough (no one sane flies through a hurricane, let alone a typhoon.) The visa situation most knew because unless you keep up on it that shit gets annoying to renew. Selen, Elira, Shu and Petra had the easiest time because they have previous history there, which means Pomu's homestay was basically just an exchange program.

Edit: it legit surprises me MatPat is classed as a lolcow I read the thread and I really don't get the "he can't take criticism" claim I feel like people who can't take criticism would not constantly meme on themselves for shit theories like Sans is Ness I've watched him for years he always came off as a harmless goof who likes to talk about What If shit not for everyone sure but I'd say his fans are more lolcow worthy than him
