Honestly, the only reasonI've stuck with youtube is background play. Im a trucker and like to listen to long livestreams like Nick's but obviously dont watch it. However, thanks to youtube bullshit I found out Rumble also has background play. Which means as soon as a few of the other guys I like to listen to (Johnny B, Nutnfancy, Nerdrotic, Issac Arthur, etc) move, I can mostly abondon it. And stop paying for YT premium.

Brave mobile has a background play option for any page in its settings. Works really nicely and imo its more convenient to have your browser instance focused so you can swap between tabs rather than having to swap between apps. Pretty much the only thing I use my phone for at this point is Brave and text/calls.
