So, gay > queer > non-binary > trans > lesbian(?) in the span of ten years? That's an average of two years between identity changes. Changing your identity so radically, so often, is a classic sign of a deeply unwell, unstable person. Well people make changes to their identities as they grow and mature, but only over time. Not that we needed any further proof Dylan is a deeply unwell person. I wonder how his parents don't take him aside and explain this to him.

Assuming just the former, they may not fully understand, and between the two of them they may not even support him (ie "I'd love to see you get a woman pregnant," dad probably deeps down wants a traditional son who can give him grandchildren), but they dare not utter such terribly phobic/ism things aloud or to Dylan. They're most likely the type to play the "Yes sweetie" card because they have no backbone to tell their son he's ruining his life.
