I was a huge Beatles fan in late elementary school to early high school, and I couldn't tell you how many times i've seen Yellow Submarine, so this is sad news to hear RIP.

Bojack I'd say is a decent look into what it's like to watch someone with chronic depression, which is to say it's neither fun nor enjoyable aside from the brief moments when the show remembers that it's supposed to be an animated sitcom.
I wonder if the writers realise that their most vehement critics are autistic people who just really like Scooby-Doo who don't want it to be changed rather than actual racist bigots like myself who are more preoccupied that people are trying to raceswap the entirety of the UK.

TBH, this project gives the vibes of Kaling having an "original" (those are really, really sarcastic quotation marks) idea for a show and it not being picked up so she had to retool it to make it acceptable, i.e. propose an animated series based on a preexisting IP and the execs decided it should be Scooby because of the name recognition.

Scooby Doo is Scooby Doo. This is obvious to everyone, even those who have never watched an episode. Poster who said this is Kapling readjusting an idea to fit an existing IP is right.
I was a big fan of Scooby Doo growing up. Every episode was the same formula for 50 years, but I enjoyed it as a child. This doesn't look like Scooby Doo. The Ventrue Bros parody was more in line with Scooby Doo's past than this tripe.
I imagine something could be said of Scooby Doo being a show made by pre-boomers, vaguely about hippie boomers, watched by all generations except boomers. The Bros parody is the 1960s/70s darker side with Bundy and Son of Sam. Things which some see as byproducts of 'liberation'.
It's a cultural landmark without trying to be anything else than a kid's show.
Anyway, 4 dollars a pound and Kapling hasn't done anything good since the Office.

God, they've learned nothing about why this show almost got cancelled.
They couldn't be more blatant if the characters have a full orgy to show how "in love" they are.
Here's what everyone working on this dogshit doesn't understand, kids, don't give a shit about how gay your characters are or their sexuality.
Children are more interested in characters being in danger through hardship (and by trouble, I mean characters having to go through actual problems that may cost them their lives or lose the people around them. Not petty issues like people saying mean things about you). They want to see the characters go on crazy adventures.
The Parents, the people responsible for deciding what their children will watch and have the money to pay for the kids, aren't going to show them this show due to the fact it raises awkward questions about sexuality that aren't simple to explain at that age, regardless of what the pedophiles on Twitter say.
The Owl House other hands, wants to brag about how many lgbt+hasdkjsfjmcx characters are, and they're so in your face that it's obnoxious.
Despite how many cartoon reviewers are constantly bragging about how "great" this is for being so diverse.
The ratings for this show have always been terrible.
Barely anyone watches this show, and the only reason Disney didn't cancel the damn wasn't that they were a dedicated fanbase large enough to support the show.
They didn't want to lose their relationship with their rabid LGBT members. It was only for political reasons that this show is still alive.
It had nothing to do with the quality of the show. It's only still around because of Disney's politics, and it will lead to their bankruptcy if they keep pulling this nonsense.
